Entrance Preview

Got admitted to this college through centralised admission process (CAP). The process was pretty smooth and administration was helpful in all stages.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

There were no electives as such at that time . The course was prescribed by Mumbai University. The overall structure was good with balanced mixture of easy and challenging subject except third semester. Also the focus on final year project should be more rather than just a formality of completion.

Internships Opportunities

No, But we have heard that recently they have started collaborating with companies with the help of alumni to give professional exposure to students.

Placement Experience

1.5

During my time there were no placements at all. But we have heard that recently they have started collaborating with companies with the help of alumni to give professional exposure to students. Also the faculties need to be more proactive and should work towards getting more companies for placement or atleast for internships.

College Events

4

The most happening event was Annual sports and cultural trophy. For which all branches used to compete in all listed sports categories and events. The branch with most awards used to get the trophy. Another core event was celebration of Navratri festival. The college also used to host a technical paper presentation competition once a year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure was feasible considering the regulations given by Mumbai University. The annual fees was 55000 including teaching, exam fees, development etc. For hostel they used to charge 10000 per year with 5000 refundable deposit. The fee was to be paid upfront without any installment facility.

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholarship or loan facility was available. However there was some undeclared discounts in fees for local students.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel facilities were good and cheap. We used to share 1 room among 3 students. The mess food was just an average. Most of the students used to prefer outside food which was available in almost same rate. Average rental was 1000 rs per month with sharing among 3.

Alumni/Alumna

There was no alumni network at that time however now they do have alumni network as well as social media groups.

Exam Structure

Exam structure was prescribed by Mumbai University hence schedule has nothing to do with college. But the practicals were taken by college and were scheduled coviniently. But the Vivas were not scheduled properly , the students had to wait for hours without knowing their time slots.

Faculty

2.5

As the college is in remote area, the faculty was a mixture of various qualified teachers coming from various regions from Maharashtra. The college also have a trend of absorbing final year students as a assistant lecturer. The teachers also have a seperate dedicated hostel which makes them available all days for students.
