Good college- [NIT], Jamshedpur

The JoSAA and CSAB are seat allocating authorities for JEE. JoSAA 7 rounds are of general counseling and CSAB 2 rounds are of special counseling. JoSAA:- If you get a seat in JoSAA and you should reserve a seat by paying a partial admission fee of 35000. CSAB:- If you don’t get a seat in JoSAA then opt for CSAB by paying 37000(35000 is refundable if you don’t get a seat). If you get a seat in JoSAA and want to participate in CSAB for a higher college than JoSAA allotted college, then you should pay 2000 as participation fee and ensure that you’re JoSAA seat is reserved as it acts as a backup if you don’t get any college in CSAB option list then the JoSAA seat is retained. Ensure all required documents are with you before a month of counseling starts.

The faculty are highly experienced i.e. 15+ years of experience in teaching and curriculum is good and we have 2 examinations for each semester mid sem(30 marks) and end sem(50 marks). The faculty engages a lot with students.

Most of the companies visit our college in the third year and I don’t Know much about internships but surely the companies will come in B.Tech. Third-year and Our seniors will guide us in the best way and the seniors are really helpful.

Mostly in the fourth a lot of companies visit the college at the most and highest package for this year is 65.5 lakhs per annum and for CSE, mean - 12.5 lakhs per annum median - 13.8 lakhs per annum ECE mean - 10.39 lakhs per annum median - 12.1 lakhs per annum.

All are mentioned per year Tuition fees-124000 Hostel fees-32000 Mess fees-30000 Institute fees-20000 General and obc students income <1lpa get full tuition fee remission, 1lpa5lpa get 2/3rd tuition fee remission, full tuition fee for income >5lpa. SC, ST get full fee remission despite income.

If your college we have many clubs technical and nontechnical and there are many events and most of them will occur in even semester. Aahwan club- drama , skit etc. Technical clubs Daksh- makes all-terrain vehicles. Rays- makes solar vehicles. Phoenix - RC aeromodelling.

Mostly everyone is allotted a single room after 1 year and the fees for a hostel is so high compared to other NIT’s and the mess fee per year is 30000 and fee for the hostel is 32000 and there is space for outdoor activities.
