Remarks
The counselling was done in a simple manner. We were made to sit in the room and were asked for our opinions about why did we opt for this college. A few basic questions were asked and then we were told to wait for confirmation.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course as I came to know that on this day of the rat race this could give me an opportunity to shine bright. The faculty to student ratio was good. It was around 1 teacher for 20 students. But the teaching methods were age old and really boring. As we can expect the classes were not regular The exam was really very easy but we're never timely. The intervals were not at all even. It's was really very bad about the schedules of the exams.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure depends on every year but it stays around 1000 per semester. But it was not at par with the quality of education we received over there. I didn't get any sort of scholarship or financial assistance but there are provisions for opting for different government scholarships. But no jobs were provided.
Campus Life
The campus of as not that good it was more or less dirty. But we had a great social life. And the relationship between the students and staff was awesome. In around December winter fests were conducted. It was great. We had a library on the campus that was not that big but we could get good books from there. The classrooms were well lit and airy. We didn't feel suffocated when in there.
Other Applied Colleges
Barasat Evening College | Bengali (Hons.)
I thought Surendranath would be better.
