All about galgotia collage

The admission in galgotia college of engineering technology is based on the upsee exam or board percentage but now jee mains has taken the lead for getting admission in it. The minimum criteria for the CSE branch is a rank below 7,000 in upsee at my time and 85 % in the CBSE boards exam there is also a management quota for admission seekers. You have to go to the college after your exams for the verification process and submission of the fees that are for freezing the seat. I have no quota for admission besides that I belong to up only. At the time of counselling, everyone has to take their result of allotment letter and have to wait for their turn to enter the main counselling hall for freezing their seat in their respective branch.

From my experience, the overall course curriculum is very nicely blended for the overall growth of a student and for gaining new experience about the higher level mathematics and core corse including chemistry and physics. I choose this corse as there is a boon and hike for this and I have some experience before with technology. Now coming to faculties..gcet has a good quality of faculties as compared to galgotia university. some of them are from IIT and others also have a lot of experience teaching practice is on top and they do support students who listen to them. The exam is being conducted 3 times that is internal exams and 2 times semester exam that is being taken by aktu itself i.e odd and even semester.

As I have taken admission in 2020 itself so have not done any internship yet .but there is a page of internships in aktu portal for the students to apply for various companies ..but only a few opportunities for students many have to take offline internships by taking referrals from their seniors and many have to take the job only after 4 years with np internship experience.

The campus placement cell becomes active in 3 years and starts the internships and placements program for the students. The highest package offered is around 28 lakhs and the average is 3.5 lakh given by Wipro and other multinationals companies that hire students in a bulk. Around 90 to 97 percentage of the students get placed by campus placement and every company has its own criteria for selection of the student that include the percentage and skills, my plan after my degree is to work in a multinational company as a software developer. The company's visit for placement fluctuates every year but around 100.

As compared to the other private colleges in greater Noida galgotia collage has much fewer fees and they also provide scholarship to the student that is financially not so strong .thr first year fees is 100800 not including the hostel fees and in 2020 they have given 8% discount to the one who gives fees before a specific time period, jobs opportunity is same as every other private collages and company including TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Deloitte are the major recruiters. Many students even started their own start up soon after college and many go for higher studies the placement cell is active and tries its best but in the end, it all depends on the student itself.

Because of the pandemic this year there is no feast and cultural events for the freshers. But it conducts feast and parties for its student but it is grander in university, the college has a well equipped library with many courses related and for higher studies related books also. The campus has no gym facility but has all the sports equipment. There ate many clubs that are run by the student itself including hcetloop for coding businesses clubs and the enthusiast club and many more. The list is just beyond. the campus is full of greenery and has maintained good hygiene in their campus as well as in the hostel also.
