Remarks

I applied for GL Bajaj but in this college, the placement in the core branches is not good as compared to galgotias college of engineering and technology. I availed for the general quota. If you are availed for any other quota you have to submit the quota form like OBC, SC, ST. In 2020 the admission was given through UPSEE but in 2021 the admission is going through jee mains.

Course Curriculum Overview

Because in this branch you can go for placement in any company. The faculty in the college is knowledgeable, helpful. Qualification P.hd.Their teaching method is good. The terms exams are semester wise 2 internal exams and 1 external exam per semester. The passing criteria are 33 marks. It is not so difficult to pass.

Placement Experience:

Today in Srm Modi Nagar, Ghaziabad become eligible from seventh sector or the last year of the course. some of the top creators for the core branches are Amazon, Infosys , TCS , Wipro, IBM, SAP labs, Cognizant , Tech Mahindra, HCL , JP Morgan Chase , Philips , etc. in 2024 more than 958 companies visited the campus making more than 6200 job offers across all disciplines. the highest package for BTech students in Srm IST Delhi NCR campus ranged from 18 LPA to 22 LPA. Selective candidates Getting up to 29 LPA. the average package for BTech with artificial intelligence and machine learning 4.5 to 6.5 LPA. the lowest package for eligible students was 3.45 LPA. the placement rate for eligible students for the recent past years is 80% to 90% for cse departements but dipped to about 55% for all btech combined in 2023 to 24 large scale hiring typically happens from IT firms and consultancy company. Students are offered role such as software developer, analyst, data engineer, graduate trainee, systems engineer, business analyst, etc. my future plans are either do higher studies like M, tech and MBA or Work in software development and machine, Delhi related job roles.

There are many companies that come in this college. there are arouund 1000+ companies that visits college for the placements. These companies includes JP Morgan, Microsoft, Amazon, Boeing, Deloitte, etc. The average package is around 7lpa and the highest package is around 45lpa. The percentage of students getting placements is around 75%. Some students prefers to study further and some leave the placements for the other reasons. Galgotias College: A college that underwhelms you in every way but never allows you to complaint.

I also applied to its affiliated college galgotias university because I heard about horrors of aktu. But didn't opt for it because the crowd on gu is actually considered really bad. At the time of counselling, GCET is my 3rd preference as I have properly researched about it and matches with my eligibilty criteria as well. I have also applied for JIIT Noida, but couldn't able to get CSE branch. However, In greater noida, comparing to other private colleges, GCET is much better option because of its location, fee structure, campus size.
