Remarks

I didn't apply for any other college as TBS was my first preference and luckily I got admission here on the first attempt. Didn't avail any quota for taking admission here. For taking admission to TBS you need to be graduate with a minimum of 50% marks and need to appear either in CAT/MAT.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I chose this course for upgrading and enhancing my marketing skills to get to work in the corporate sector. There were 10 teachers and 60 students in the class. The faculty in TBS is well qualified and hold degrees in the field of MBA, MPHIL, PHD. The method of their teaching method is really good. The term exams conduct in three phases- midterm, end term, viva.

Companies like ITC, Hdfc, ICICI visits the campus for offering internship opportunities and provides numerous no. of roles and tasks to the individuals. Like, I personally got the role of selling their products and compel people about using their products and services.

After the ending of the 3rd semester, the students become eligible for college placements and various companies like ITC, Hdfc, Pepsi, etc. comes to the university for providing jobs to the students and the average salary they offer lies between the 4lakh-8lakh. Almost 70% of students get placement from the university's placement cell.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is quite reasonable and affordable in TBS in comparison to other colleges in Jammu who charge high fees expenses from the students. TBS also provides scholarships to the poor economically poor students who can't bear the fees expenses and also provides internship opportunities to the students with an average stipend of 7000-9000.

Campus Life

5

Every year university organizes and conducts an annual fest named as "YouthRuva" where students participates with the full enthusiasm and talking about the library of TBS, Yes there is availibility of books and journals in the library with the latest edition. The classroom has all the required amenities. Inter college sports and NSS activities take place in the campus. ABVP and NSUI are the two social groups run by the students in the university.

During my GD round, I got the topic "Should the Indian economy is ready for adopting privatization" and after that, a PI round took place on the campus where they ask me some questions regarding my qualifications, my interest, my background, etc. and after clearing out both of rounds I got an email from the university regarding my admission.

Needs to upgrade the teachers training with technology. Exam papers are extremely difficult and the level is high, although our teachers were very talented who teach us how to handle each and every tough situation.
