Remarks

Shambhunath is a college worth choosen, due to its surrounding like Airforce station, Manufacturing unit of Railways, , CATC organization, and Prayagraj Domestic Airport.Admission process is very fair as it is totally based on marks obtained in the exams like UPSEE, JEE mains, JEE Advanced, and other similar exams. And the process is also smooth with the admission cell there as the faculty there is supportive , only basic and required document are needed for documentation is to be done on the day of counseling as students is talented enough to clear the exam so need for him to struggle. A minimum of 60% is required in 12th for admission and should be cleared in the competitive exam and must have obtained a rank. And Just payment of registration fees and welcome to SHAMBHUNATH INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is vibrant as there is limited but most demanded engineering branches in the institute. Along with that practical labs for students to explore their knowledge is also available. The engineering branches in the college are mechanical engineering(ME), Electrical engineering(EE), Electronics and communication engineering(ECE), Computer science engineering(CS), and Civil engineering(CE). If we have a look over Faculty: student ratio it is perfect, as every branch requires its own teaching skill and knowledge and have a particular market demand, number of seats is different for each branch and so the faculty to student ratio. And each teacher is either Master or Phd in their respective subjects. About term exam, I would like to say that the difficulty level is moderate not very hard nor very easy.

Fees and Financial Aid

INR 96000 was the tution fee during 2014-18. It seems to be nominal as compared to any other engineering college or similar authorization. Since it is affiliated with Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, the fee structure, the management, the facilities are all under observance of the university. Scholarships are there but I personally have no idea about it. For EWS students, there is a facility of fee waiver. About job or placement, it is quite average. So sometimes it doesn't feel good but My opinion is that whatever opportunity is served to you, just grab it.

Campus Life

4

We have techfest celebrated each year in the month of March, and its name was Eureka. It was basically divided into four major parts Technical( Technical quiz, Coding, Debugging, Robotics, etc) , Non-Technical( Rodies, Puzzle, Debate, Ad Mania etc), Sports (Cricket, badminton, 100 mtr race, , weigthlifting, Slow cycling race, etc) and others( Singing, dfancing, fashion shows, skit, etc) Other than that library is good and news papers, jouranal, magzines realted to bussines, employment, National and international events, technology, agriculture are always available, and also the space is enogh to take seat and read them peacefully.Amenitites in the classrooms are ecofriendly and avoid the use of Airconditioners except Computer and machine labs, to avoid the health issues of both students and teachers. All the activities in the college are controlled and managed the student groups. Eureka was developed by the students of the college itself.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and keep up with the evolving trends of industry. It balance Theoretical and knowledge and practical application, helping students build a strong foundation in core subjects like programming mathematics and engineering fundamentals. The curriculum Includ Laboratory session Projects and tutorials that enhance understanding beyond the textbooks It also allows students to choose elective in later semester which adds flexibility and depth to learn. In terms of revevance, most subjects are designed to align with current industry requirements especially in field like computer science and electronics the inclusion of emerging technologies such as ai data science and web development makes it quite comprehensive. However a few areas could be improved such as integrating more industry based project and updating some older Syllabus to match modern tools and frameworks. Overall the curriculum is relevant ,comprehensive and career-oriented providing a solid base for both higher studies and professional development.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.
