Remarks

MCC is by far the best according to me for life sciences I knew it from my seniors hence when selected I did not hesitate with the admission process which went on smooth. Admission criteria for my course were pcmb in 12th with 70% and above. I did not apply for any other colleges as I always wanted Mount Carmel.

Course Curriculum Overview

I wanted my career in life sciences research and pharma hence opted for this course. Extremely wonderful faculty with new methodologies and lab techniques and an overall great experience with learnings in and out of the syllabus which could help crack competitive exams. Exams were held semester wise with follow-ups on class assessments and regular monitoring.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are a lot of companies that come with good internship opportunities which can later be converted full time on students interest and performance. There are paid as well as internships with good companies who offer a wonderful learning experience which could help us build up our profile.

Placement Experience

Students get eligible from the 5th sem for placement there's placement training which is provided with full support Around 300 companies visit colleges recruiting a large number of students with a really good package. My plans would be to pursue my masters.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees were around 50000 per year and it seems reasonable. I did get placed through campus placements with An annual package of 4,50,000. Applied for a national scholarship which could help me with my fees. The overall cost of the study seems to be manageable for the ambience being provided.

Campus Life

Annular fest culah happens with great zeal and enthusiasm, each department in the college has its own fest be it cultural or technical. All the basic amenities In the college are up to the mark. MCC is known for its cultural activities there are a large number of clubs run by the students and the union which add to the student's interest.

Would never recommend this college for the students who want to take a Tech Job

Course Curriculum Overview:

Now the syllabus has changed. New emerging technologies trends and subjects are introduced in new curriculum. Data science, Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security are now taught. Practical marks are reduced to 50 marks. Term end examinations are conducted twice in a year. Exams are not that difficult. Usually previous year questions appear in the exams.

There is no official records of placements for SST as its a new college, but they do provide placements, also they provide internships in third year itself with a average stipend of 25k. The highest stipend that was offered was 2.5 lakhs from a german based company.

My journey in Christ University

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from the 5th semester. The university also conducts placement drives and skill development workshops. Out of the various companies, some of the reputed ones include Goldman Sachs, KPMG, EY, Deloitte, De Shaw, etc. The average package is around 7 to 8 lakhs but 60% students opt out from placements for further education. I plan to study a master's degree in business economics after my undergraduate studies.

Scaler School of Technology : An honest review

Placement Experience:

There is no such thing as placements for now (in 1st year here) but in our second year, we have placement support here. We have compulsory internship at our Second year. We only have 2 batches, 1st Year and 2nd Year. But for now, among our seniors 60% of them hold internships and others are either building something or scaling their skills. For now, we don't have any placement records but according to scaler academy, it will be aroung 24 Lakhs.

A good college for starting your new journey

I did apply to BHU and Delhi university and also Christ university. I did get accepted to Christ and the other i didn't make it. My reason for not going to Christ was only that I felt MCC would be a better choice for me in case of everything. The other colleges I didn't make were because of my CUET results and also few of them I did not even check as the results came out too late. The admission eligibility is just getting a 60% in your 12th and then an interview will be set up and if one gets selected they will recieve an email regarding so and then they need to pay the given fees. MCC - A college of Dreams

I applied in Christ University for a B.Sc. in Biotechnology but did not end up going to Christ when I heard about it's cons that it focuses more on its outer image rather than imparting quality knowledge.
