College with good values

The admissions were based on JEE Mains score (percentile) then 7 rounds of counselling was done by JOSAA, in which I have to select the list of colleges I want to go in which I got NIT Jamshedpur. There was no age restriction but there were certain rules we had to follow. After I got the NIT Jamshedpur in the counselling then I have to physically report and verify all my details in the college where I got my hostel and the room in the hostel. And this is how I got into NIT Jamshedpur.

The course of engineering is the same throughout India, just some minor changes happen to depend on the college. Overall the course structure is good and the faculties are very helpful and friendly. All the faculties are highly qualified and have a vast knowledge of their field. Moving to the examination, it is done 2 times a semester 1 mid-semester examination and the end semester examination. The pattern of the exam is subjective but it varies sometimes on the faculty member and condition.

For internships, there are many companies that visit our campus. For core, the main companies are TATA Steel, TATA Motors, Bajaj, etc. And for non-core, there are many companies and there are open to all branches. But if get into core it may get you a PPO and that's the best thing.

The placement of NIT Jamshedpur has been raising for the past year. Even in this Corona pandemic, the placement percentage is more than 90%. We get to sit in the placement after the 6th semester and for an internship after the 4th semester.

There are many scholarships here, one of them is Kalyan and others are also there. Other than that you will get a fee reduction depending on the income of your family. Moving the job and internship there are many companies. Even in this Corona pandemic, the placement is more than 90%, and it is an achievement at this time.

Life at the campus is very cheerful and happy. The hostel is very big and clean. The mega hostels made are huge and you will get a lot do. There is an open-air theatre in every hostel. There are many clubs from cultural to technical, the cultural club includes dancing, photography, singing, modelling and many more and there are 6 technical teams in here. Some of them make RC planes some of them make cars. You will learn a lot in these teams not only technical knowledge but also other things. Moving to the fest, there is 3 fest here. URJA is the sports fest, OJASS the technical fest and CULFEST the cultural fest. It's a lot of fun in all these fests. And there are also many sports teams here from cricket to table tennis.

The hostel facilities are very good here that I can say for sure. Every room has a fan, one light, a 1-night lamp, one LAN port. The hostels are very good I am saying it again. Moving to mess, in first 1 or 2 months the food quality is very good and after that, it will be same as all the other mess in the world. The registration for the hostel is done at the same time as the admissions.
