I wrote Karnataka CET entrance exam and scored 32k rank. I wanted to do mechanical engineering and with that rank "HKBK" is the best option available to me.
Course Curriculum Overview
Mechanical Department is best and cool department compared to other departments. HOD is nice and helping. He believe in practical rather than only theory. Many industrial visit happens. Many Research project is still going on in the department. We have one FASE car made by students. One conceptual car and light weight aircraft made by students.
Internships Opportunities
No. They don't provide. But if you are interested you can approach respective HOD and ask for it. The duration will be for 1 month maximum I.e during vtu holidays.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Since its a Muslim minority college. Fees is feasible compare to others. For management people it might go high. Still its less than any other good college. For CET its 34 k per year And for management students it 1.5 lakh. Many other quota can be applied which results in less fees.
Admission
Since I got the seat through Karnataka CET, I got my admission order from CET cell where they have mentioned the reporting date. On my reporting first they gave me the form for 500 and gave me the list of documents need to be submitted. An extra affidavit I had to make for some anti ranging rule.
Faculty
The faculty is friendly and won't bother you much. They will do their work and expect us to do the same. You can ask any concept in their free time. They are available on holidays too, if notify prior. They motivate you for other activities too.
