Remarks

There was a writing exam, the questions were very easy. Questions were asked from English, reasoning and grammar. After the completion, of the written exam, there was an interview round where 2 college professors took my interview. They asked basic questions about me, some recent news stories and my reason for choosing this course.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I wanted to pursue journalism. In every class, there are around 40mstudents. We are taught various subjects along with practicals. Amity radio and studio is accessible to all the students. Most of the amity professors are knowledgeable and has good experience but there are always some exceptions.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 115000 per year

Internships Opportunities

We have finished two NTCC research projects work. I have done an internship at Radio Amity as a radio jockey and content writer. The internship was unpaid but I got to host a webinar and did some voiceovers on various contents written by me.

Placement Experience

I am in 3rd year of my college and have not been given any information about the campus placements. Although there is a placements cell for us students whom we can coordinate with any time. As said by my seniors, the companies usually come for marketing, PR and advertisement sectors. Media companies hiring journalists are rarely there in the placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

BJMC course fee is 1,20,000 per semester, BJMC EVNG course fee is 60,000 per semester, BJMC 3C course fee is around 2,00,000 per sem, 100% scholarship is given to students who have scored more than 90% in the 12th examination. Students who score above 9 CGPA in semester exams are also given scholarships. There is some scholarships exam held for students with weak financial backgrounds.

Campus Life

The campus life of Amity Noida is amazing. Various celebrities visit the campus. There are so many good hangout places on the campus. Restaurant, Dominos, CCD, Subway, Mamma mia, Pitapit Amity campus has all these. Campus is huge and enriched with greenery which adds to its beauty. Amity library is also luxurious with all types of books and facilities available.

I cannot speak about this because I didn't not take job from placement because i already got a job as soon as my degree was finished because I started applying to jobs on LinkedIn early. But many of the students do get jobs from the college placement drives.

College to start providing us internship from the second year itself its Paid internship and a free internship and they also starts giving us hundred percent placement from 30 or itself even it's a mid year of third year or the final months of 30th but they do provide 100% placement from the college campus itself

the campus placement what i have learnt is that you will get a job only in your third year and can start internship in fourth semester. there are not many companies for journalism but you can still get jib offers for advertisement, content writer, social media and video editors if you have better relationship with the faculty they set you somewhere in the company

Amity is a Universe not University.

I applied to other colleges also but i choose amity because Amity really gives you the knowledge. It makes you a overall complete person. It makes you forward in life, teaches you how to gain confidence which i didnt had before coming to Amity. The admission process was quite easy i got admission through my CUET Score. In admission portal it asks you general questions and takes few of your informations and previous scores of 12th and 10th.
