Remarks

I was entering my engineering college through the TS EAMCET exam and I got a rank of 52000 and got a seat in the ECE branch and I tried to get a seat in St. Peters Engineering College but due to the cut-off score, I didn't get the expected college. The eligibility of our college is through TS Eamcet, TS Ecet and even management seats are also available the student should pass the examination of class 12 is the eligibility. The councelling was carried out by TS Eamcet officials and engineering colleges for opting for a scholarship the student should be SC, ST and BC background and sky fund will be given by the government based on the caste they belong to.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I have chosen the Electronics and Communication branch due to the heavy demand of this course these days even we can crack some of the government exams through ECE. The teacher-student ratio is 1:20 and the teacher guides us in a good manner. The faculty provided in the college are mostly post graduates and M.Tech holders and even there are many faculty with gold medals. The term exams are conducted for every 1¹/² month consisting of half of the syllabus and the question paper will be average to pass and little bit tough to get full marks. The college follows the rules and timetable of Osmania University for which Methodist college is affiliated.

Placement Experience

3.5

From the ending of the 3rd-semester student is eligible for campus placements. Many companies like Amazon, Tech Mahindra, Oracle, Dell and some other companies hire students from this college nearly 100-150 students get placements from this college. The highest package is 26 lakh and the average is 12 lakh and the least is 1 lakh. Students who are having a percentage of above 60% and having good technical knowledge students get placements. I try to get placement in a company after my engineering.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college fees are 69000 per annum and there will be other charges for library exam fees and some others. For SC or ST students government pay the tuition fees but they have to pay for other requirements and for bc background students the government gives 35000 for an annum.

Campus Life

3.5

The college conducts many cultural events like Annual Day, Engineers Day, Freshers, Batukamma, Cultural Day, Teachers Day and Graduation Day. The library consists of more than 25000 volumes of books also having an e-library with a good wifi connection. The college has many national sports cups won in many state competitions.

Placement Experience:

SVIT provides good placement opportunities for general IT roles, but students aiming for niche fields like Cyber Security need to take initiative, upskill themselves, and explore off-campus options. The college is improving slowly, and I believe future batches will benefit more if industry tie-ups are strengthened.

Placement Experience:

Around 40% to 50% of students get placed in entire college. It is totally based on the skill of the student if students has very good skill training and placement officer also offers to apply for companies which only takes skilled students the college is totally computer science and only one section has ECE which is comparatively has less placements compared to other deparments since there is no computer science background this is the drawback for taking Electronics and Communication but if students are skilled in the Electronics backgroung Veda IIT which provides internship and job oppurtunities in VLSI and Embedded Systems but the student has to be a skilled person in the electronics subjects.
