Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Annually provides an average of 40 customized consultation services to programs, departments, schools, and colleges. This includes helping Deans, Department Heads, and groups of faculty to systematically collect, review, and use information to iteratively improve student learning and overall program effectiveness. The bulleted items below provide information to support your program-level assessment efforts.

Internships Opportunities

Maybe you already have the great interpersonal skills employers seek. But in an internship, you can’t help but sharpen them by interacting with people on a professional level and in a way that you would never have the opportunity to do in the classroom. The same goes for the teamwork, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills that employers lust for.

College Events

His one is a meeting, meeting of all the talent in the country that come together to not just compete but also to lose themselves in the atmosphere of the fest. This fest holds four main attractions – Bigwig, which brings together all the dancers across colleges and pits them against each other, Kaleidoscope – this one is for the fashion fiesta in you, this is a fashion show which sees a huge turnover every year, Blitzkreig – the rock band competition and Dhoom – the Indian musical performance by renowned artists. Along with this, a colorful combination of various literary, music, dance and dramatics competitions are organized which makes the fest one of the most looked forward to event of the year. Rendezvous celebrates intellectualism, creativity and the spirit to party. This is an event that you should surely look forward to.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible. It costs nearly Rs.36000 every semester for the academic fee and Rs.700 separately exam fee every semester. It is relatively low compared to other colleges in India. Scholarships are also given on the basis on merit and also category based. COURSE CURRICULUM -Course structure is awful, most of the important topics have been stripped off the course due to complexity and professors inability to teach them. Even there are only repeated questions in the exam and still they strip the marks deserved. Course structure is not at all based on research or even a little bit development of the student.

Fees and Financial Aid

Few college-bound students have the financial resources to pay for their post-secondary education entirely out of pocket. Even students with substantial college savings plans typically find that they are left with sizable amounts of unmet need. The average total cost of attending a public four-year college is more than per academic year. Students planning to attend a private college or university can expect to spend more than per academic year. A college education is a costly proposition, and all indications are that those costs are only going to increase.

Campus Life

Good exposure. Has students from every state of India. Also, we have international students. We get to celebrate almost every festivals, cultural nights where we can get to know about other culture. 2. Opportunities: Students get every opportunity to star in their area of interest. If you are interested in research, get with right mentor. If you are interested in acting, join vit film society. Interested to involve in any ngo activities.1 You have countless NGOs to work here. 3. Infrastructure: I bet, no private college can beat vit here(exception:bits). Great lab facilities, green and clean campus. 4.FFCS: Here, you get to select faculties and time of the class, of your choice. What more you need.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel in college campus during my time was not ready and was under construction so college had rented out bungalows in nehru nagar area of Bhilai. There were 3-4 of such bungalows which were the hostels but by the time I passed out hostel was ready and functional within the college premises.

Alumni/Alumna

Networking can be difficult and time-consuming, especially early in your career. But graduating from a school with a solid alumni base means diving straight into a built-in network of professionals. The Princeton Review compiled a list of the 25 colleges with the best alumni networks in the country, featured in the book "Colleges That Pay You Back: 2016 Edition," published in February, based on students' ratings of how visible and active alumni are on their campuses. We've also gathered salary data from PayScale to show how much new graduates from these schools can expect to make.

Exam Structure

Expensive as per way of study. Money only spend on infrastructure or culture program. There are so many other expenditures that is late fee, attendance short fine etc. After taking fine still no allow student to sit exam and many more. teacher share knowledge and help clear the concept.but mostly theoretically. Study is always depends upon studend. A good teacher guide but you have to study. Our staff always happy to guide students and share our professional experience. So, we are repeat the mistake that was done by our teacher.

Admission

After gone through AIEEE exam and got the score, there was an open house counselling which works on first come first served based on rankings. so assembled in raipur GEC for the counselling and than aftr some hours of wait and regular registration got inside the venue then online counselling goes on where you had to select college and stream you like and all done.

Faculty

4.5

Students who are enrolled in a program should be fully aware of the expectations of the program. Are program outcomes aligned on the syllabus so that students are aware of not only what course objectives they are required to meet, but also how the program outcomes are supported? Do students and other stakeholders participate in review of outcomes, criteria, or related activities? Many outside accreditors also require communicating program outcomes to other relevant parties, including the community, business partners, and advisory councils. Assessment documents should clearly communicate what is being done with the data results and how it is contributing to improvement of the program and curriculum.

To be honest placement scenario is not really good. One becomes eligible for placement in the final year. Companies like cognizant used to visit the college for mass recruitment but after covid even they are not visiting. But few startups visit every year. The highest package this year was 12 lpa ctc. And avg 6 lpa. Only 30 percent get placement. My plan is to do M TECH.

Placements at SSIPMT Raipur are pretty good. Students become eligible from 6th semester for campus placements. Companies that visit: TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, etc. They mostly offer roles like software developer, support engineer, tester, etc. Highest Package: ?42 LPA (off-campus international placement) Average Package: Around ?6 LPA Placement Percentage: Almost 100% for CS/IT branches if the student is active and skilled. My Future Plan: After completing my degree, I’ll try to get placed through campus first, then maybe switch later for better opportunities or prepare for higher studies if needed.

The placements are not at all good here, the highest package ever is 7.5LPA and the lowest is 1.25LPA so the average usually comes around 2.5LPA which is not enough with the current inflation rates of our country. And they don't get very big companies to come for the hiring.

Placements are decent. It doesn't not matter from which branch you are . If you have skills and have a cgpa of above 7-7.5 most companies allow students from every branch to sit for placements. If you are decent in studies and you managed to brush up your skills in these four years . You will grab a good package despite whatever your branch is.
