University Institute of Engineering and Technology, Kanpur is famous for its engineering course. It provides decent placements and student have the opportunity to be Ambassadors of campus program and be an intern. Teachers are very helpful here and give all possible types of information required for a student. Its counselling process is the same as A.K.T.U. and the same admission process as A.K.T.U.

It's all upto you that in which course you want in. None of the branches is good or bad, it depends on you how you create your interest and job opportunities in that field. Most students are preparing for gate and other government exams and there are many off-campus internships and not much knowledge about on-campus except campus ambassador of companies and not much knowledge about projects.

There are companies like Flipkart, Google, Infosys, Tata, Wipro, HCL and others that come to the campus for placements. The average package provides is 4 lac per annum and the highest package is 16 lac per annum. 75% of students are placed in tech fields.

Since government funds into the college so hostel and mesh fees are very low according to the facilities and tution fees is well and decent. Tution fees are 83643, Hostel fees are 18500, Mesh fees are 12000. Students have many opportunities of getting scholarships that are released by the U.P. government and yes you can also be a campus ambassador during study years with a stipend.

The infrastructure of the campus is very good. The campus has a very well structured auditorium, senate hall, swimming pool, girls and boys hostel, library and a stadium too. There is an annual fest known as Spandan also conducted. There is a community of students in Codistan run by students.

There is plenty of furniture, a table and a bed provided in the hostel room and there is good meal quality and various dishes on the menu weekly. The fee for the girl's hostel is 18500 Rs. I also reside in a hostel room.
