Review on my personal experience in CMRIT MBA

1) As I had given my PGCET exam, I had opted for CMRIT during my process of counselling and was allotted based on my ranking. 2) The admission criteria for the CMRIT MBA program is simple, you can get in through various entrance exams such as PGCET, KMAT, MAT etc. Management quota is also available. Aggregate 50% in the bachelor degree is a must to be eligible. 3) The admission process through entrance exams is easy, get your documents, pay your fee for the year, finish the joining formalities. All these happen in one day with full support from the staff.

As we all know MBA is a professional program that builds our profile to a larger extent. I always desired to graduate MBA from a reputed institution. Honestly, I was very sceptical about a VTU affiliated college but trust me, the faculties in the MBA department is amazing. They help you in and everything guides you well when you come up with startup ideas and gives you various opportunities to explore. We have mentors who will monitor our progress throughout the course. Individual attention is given to build our careers. Faculties at CMRIT are highly qualified with a minimum of 8+ years experience in teaching Masters, also corporate experiences which helps us in gaining real life examples and knowledge from them. Though the syllabus is vast the faculties have structured the program professionally where we get time to explore various opportunities put in front of us apart from academics. Faculties frame's the syllabus accordingly and gives adequate time for the students to practice.

College provides internship opportunities for one month and other organisational studies to get hands on experience before sitting for placement drives. We need to submit one mini project every semester and one major project in the last semester.

CMRIT is noted for its placements. The placement department provides utmost support to the students through various programmes and activities to build the skills demanded by the top companies. The placement training for MBA starts from the 2nd semester, students are eligible for campus placements from the 3rd semester. We have seen top companies such as Wipro, TCS etc. 85%-90% of students get placed every year with an average package of 6 lpa and highest 18 lpa.

The fee structure is considerably less as compared to other colleges. The institution provides scholarships to students and supports them financially. CMRIT is prominent for its placement assistance. The college gives excellent placement support to develop skills required to crack interviews through TYL programmes. These sessions help students in getting the hands on corporate experiences and technical skills demanded by the industries. As promised, CMRIT brings top companies during placement drives and helps most of the students in getting placed in more than one company.

CMRIT conducts various fests every year. Due to the pandemic the fests have been temporarily stopped but the management conducts virtual competitions to engage students and participate with the same zeal. The college has a huge library which has all kinds of books and journals you wish to read. The classrooms are spacious with good infrastructures and also huge auditoriums. CMRIT equally supports young talents in field of sports and extracurricular activities on and off campus.
