Remarks

I applied for B.Tech in civil engineering from National Institute of technology Jamshedpur through JoSAA platform. One is eligible for josaa counseling if the individual have scored the cut off marks of JEE mains. I had no quota. I was a general category student. There was no age barrier to take admission to the college but there was minimum marks criteria - the student's score must be under top 20percentile in 12th boards exam and he must score the minimum cutoff marks set by josaa for NIT jamshedpur for different branches. Each branch has different cutoff marks. For getting into civil engineering branch you need to score minimum 150 marks in JEE mains. Admission process- I was allotted a seat of civil engineering in NIT jamshedpur then I went to college on date given by josaa then physical verification of my documents was done via officials of NIT jamshedpur then I have to sign various undertaking and finally I got admitted.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I chose this course because this was the branch I was getting through my JEE score. Faculty student ratio is 3:100. All the professors here are highly qualified and had phd from top colleges of the worl. There research has been published by many publications ,many of them had written books and got published . there researchs are famous world wide . The teaching method of professor is very good they explain the topics upto which it is necessary to be known. Exams here are held timely ,2 semesters per year and the level of question paper is moderate.

One of the positive remark is that our college environment is very polite and clean. But negative remark is that not all the faculties are that much intelligent, so may be considered as a negative remark.

Outstanding faculties having a good depth of knowledge.. Well interactive. Ideas and Knowledge is easily projected by them. They follow a stringent standards while conducting experiment, viva-voice in labs. Their teaching style and attitude is good and generally the language of interaction between student and faculty is English. So in a nutshell the faculty is up to the mark and satisfactory.
