Remarks

The reasons were - lesser fees compared to other top B-schools, also smaller batch size gives better academic experience. The faculty to student ratio is 1:3. IIT Kanpur has faculties with excellent expertise and there is also sufficient collaboration with students from other departments (B.Tech. and Phd).

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum gives many subjects to choose from based on interests. There is sufficient exposure to all fields of management. The projects and hands-on experience is excellent for concept clarity. The faculties are easily reachable for any doubts and guidance.

Placement Experience

There are student placement committees for different departments. They work on getting companies for internships and final placements. There is immense potential for employment after completing the course.

From the information I have about campus life, it is excellent. There are many student clubs based on activities such as sports, design and animation, entrepreneurship, finance, analytics, etc. The infrastructure is really good.

Worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements of our college is good. Most of our seniors got placed in good organizations. Companies lying under fortune 500 also comes in our college for placement. And before internship each student have to go through a live project provided by the college which will help in deciding the specialization.

I Business Institute overview from the point of view of the student.

Placement Experience:

Students when they comes back from their summer internships, starts appearing for the internship interviews. The final interviews takes place months before the completion of the course. Companies like amul, delloit, amazon, meesho, flipkart comes in the campus for hiring. Many students get the PPO from their intership companies and they dont have to sit fot the final placements. the highest package offerd is 28LPA and the lowest rangese between 6 to 8 LPA. Almost 90 percent students get placed and rest opts for starting their own startups. After completing the cousre i want to place myself in a reputed company in a reputed designation, however through our curriculum i am also looking to start my own startup and work upon it simultaneously my job.

Placements are good in the college as there is a new placement team hired. which is bringing the result. For my senior batch, companies like Amazon and Toyota came for hiring, and also companies from every domain are coming. The average package was around 9 LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this course because I like to interact with different people talk with then know about them. In marketing field it's very common which influence me to chhode this and I have taken finanace as 2nd specialization because I am from accounts background. A good college for PGDM

Placement Experience:

From the 4th trimester, students are eligible for placement. There are some major companies like HUL, HCl, Dabur, Toyato and they are offering a good ampount to the students like 11 LPA, 12 LPA and also they are coming for higher package like 18 LPA. College have 100% placement record.

I choose this college becouse of its flexible acdemic structure and its great Alum connections. Also this is the best college i am getting according to my rank and my interest in mathematics. I have Applied for IIT delhi in electronics. IIT Delhi is also a great college but when it comes to academic focus IIT delhi lacks there. Also there faculty administratation is so strict. if a student wants to start something or he/she has a new iniative for the college , he/she will face hard time. So I couldn't make it to IIT Roper CSE branch because my jee adance rank is not that great for the Roper' Computer science. So the Admission process here at IITK is not difficult. You just the originaly document which you have submitted in your josa counselling portal and you need to verify it once here usually a couple opf hours work. I chose IIT Kanpur over othe rcooleges because of its academic reputation, research opportunities and strong alumini network. I was also able to get seats in other IITs but I preferred IIT Kanpur due to its legacy . I didn't face rejections, but did not opt for some colleges even after qualifying due to lower research output, weaker placement stats.
