Remarks

Admission procedure is online directly done through Mumbai University website where we have to fill our preference college list and then according to our marks colleges are allotted to us. There are three online round and last physical round depend on availablity of vacant seats. After the allocation of college which you wish to attend we have to go to that college physically and do the further process and have to deposit fees through DD ( Demand Draft). College admission staff is very cooperative and helpful in the process. This College is among the top colleges of law in Mumbai so cut off is high but as this is an trust college of Sindhis so it's is easy for a Sindhi get an admission in this college. For a student like me who is from another state minimum 90 marks in entrance is required to get admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

As I got admission in batch of 2019 the first SEM exams a little delayed and was conducted in February and after that Covid came so further exams were online and was totally based in syllabus giver by university. So it is easy for person who has done his preparation well.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Internships opportunities are available to students as college lies in the proximity of Bombay High Court where more students get their internships. I got my internships by inquiring law firms on my own.

Placement Experience

3

Placements wing of college is not that much to my knowledge as I don't have any update about the placement wing of college. Most of the students do internship in their course the so they are hardly dependent on college placement for jobs.

Fees and Financial Aid

As this is a college under the trust the fees is not high ranging from 7k to 9k for a year which is good for a law degree. So there is no need for scholarship and there is no on campus job as of my knowledge.

Campus Life

4

There is an annual law fest "Legis Centrum" where national level moot court competition and other competition were organised. It happens in the month of February every year after the semester exams. KC law library is very good having all updated law books and other books as well and also e-library is there to excess from your place. There are many other students activities by college as there is college run free legal aid center and other co- curricular activities. There is an active constitution club of college students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum specially the first two years focuses more on subjects like history, political science etc and prepares are foundation for law. The curriculum is well inclusive of the practical aspects of law as well as the theory which prepares you well for the real world applications. The course can be improved via adding the amended laws like add in GST to the taxation laws. The internal as well as semester exams are conducted once every semester. The difficulty level is easy to moderate for both. We get a study leave of around 20-25 days before every semester exam to prepares ourselves well.

The curriculum is extremely outdated. While NLU students are learning about law in thier first year itself, we have to wait till 3rd year for the same thing. A lot of students end up learning more at internships rather than at college
