College has experienced faculty with vast knowledge
College provides you the opportunities to work in rural areas

Dislikes

There is a college ground but that is rented
Even swimming pool is also rented though allowing us a 45 min window
Tennis court is also there but that is also rented

Course Curriculum Overview

We are under SPPU(savitribai phule pune university) so deciding authority of curriculum is university here college is not responsible for thecurriculum. I must say curriculum is little bit outdated.

I did internship with Pune District court and National Legal Service Authority (Lokadalat) provided by college and also coordinated with college where college provided us the opportunity to conduct awareness camps in pune municipality schools in cooperation with the with pune municipal corporation

There are placements avilable for example this year some well known companies came to our college like khaitan, shardul amrchand, icici, etc i dont remember all the names but yes they do come to college

Fees and Financial Aid

Rate of tution fee hikes is not regular it is steady then our college is aided by govt category college so our tution fee is very less for ex. 4-5 thousand depending upon the category an rest is all the expenses of college like parking, wifi, swimming pool, tennis court, etc

Campus Life

Thought out the year multiple fests happened. Legal ease is our prime fest which takes place in the month of feb or march then aavahan, thirkan, tedX, memorial conferences,etc. Library is also very vast and you can get the original copies of some notable writings. There are a lot of clans in college like marathi club, history club, environment club, drama club, musical band, legal aid club, etc

Hostel Facilities

They take 56 thousands for 1 educational year or for 2 semesters and for one semester it is 28 thousands. Registration of hostel is very easy then you won't get any mess facility provided by the hostel

Admission

They do very tight scrutiny of documents while taking admission them there are two category of students here other than maharashtra students and maharashtra students. So 85 percent of seats are researved for maharashtra students

Faculty

Firstly Faculty is well educated and most of them are from nlus so this part is okay. Then Faculty is approachable you can anytime go and ask doubts. Then even encourage to come to them for asking doubts

The placements in college is moderate. Some students from BALLB grab high packages like 15-20 lakhs, but these are exceptions. Normally students have on average 8-10 lakhs mostly in law firms and banks

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course 8/10 aa course is highly good for me and i chose this field because of the respect it have our curriculum is good only as first 2 years we have BLS subjects then we have law subjects after that. As it is an integrated course it surely serves the purpose and makes you ready for real-life field only but as we have 75-25 pattern it gets hard to write that much in the examination in that much hour also we have to prepare for internals alot then assignment costs alot of time and make the whole study schedule hectic

ILS Law College - One of the best college of India

ILS law college is a great college with established history of more than 100 years. It has great alumni base, good placements, beautiful campus and affordable fee structure. I appeared for clat but I could not get any NLU. I believe my preparation lagged in some aspects of practice. I got accepted in Symbiosis Law college Pune. Comparison of SLS Pune and ILS Pune - 1. fees - ILS total fees - 204000 SLS total fees - 2000000 2. ILS has better alumni and long term history 3. ILS has better and bigger campus than SLS 4. SLS has better placements than ILS. 5. ILS has better campus life than SLS. Other than SLS pune, I got admitted in Nirma college of Law and Army institute of Mohali. I chose ILS Pune over them because of the overall exposure that the college provided my and fees structure that better suited to my needs. Admission process of ILS Pune is through MHCET exam Once you clear it, you appear for counselling rounds, and give your preference of universities. Then according to your rank the college is alloted, you can lock it or put for upgradation.
