One of the best college for Commerce in Banglore- ST. Joseph's College of Commerce

I aplied to many colleges for admission including Government arts college Bengaluru and MS Ramaiah college of arts. but i didn't get the admission because my marks was very low on 12th standard. The admission process aws very simple. We have to apply online and they will call us for an interview and they will ask about basic details and conduct a general meeting to students and parents to gave a general idea about the college and its general rules. I get into the college because it was near my house.

I choose Bcom because i awas very passionate in commercial studies and accounting and also i have a commerce background in 12th standard. I was very intrested in studying Bcom and i knew that it will help me in my future studies. The faculty in the college was very reputed and experienced. The faculty was very experienced in this feild and they teach very well. The facultys are well educated and have neccessary qualifications for becaming a good mentor. Thet conduct term exam but they are not 100% strictly managed.

For us (Bcom) students they provide campus placements in financial mangement companies from the last semesrter. Because ours is a baaisc degree thay don't provide enough campus placement but they provide it to higher degrees. Around 30 to 40% students get campus placements. After Bcom i will do Mcom.

The fees structure of college is little bit higher. For bcom course we have to pay 40000 per year as basic fees and we are asked to pay extra fees of almost10000 on every semester( ie of evaery six months). overall for completing 3 years course i had paid almost 300000 including books fees etc. They will provide some scholarshipd for sc/st students . But it is not sufficient for students of ecnomically lower class. The college provide some jobs to the student who has loat there parents inside the campus and gives a stipend for that work.

The campus was good and have a wonderfull infrastructure including basket ball court, cricket ground. In the college every year we conduct food fest, youth festival, freshers day etc. The campus promotes extra cariccular activities very much. The college conduct study tours every year. In overall the college provide very good social infrastructure. The library have so many booka and other essential dailys. But we have to pay an extra fees of 200 rs every year to use the services of library. The class room was very neat and comfortable. The college promotes social groups nad social work. In evaery six months we conduct blod donation campigns in the college.
