Entrance Preview

COMED-K,score-84, I had already decided to opt engineering but choosing this college was a last moment decision. It was so because for half if the time I was planned for mechanical. But on others suggestions and my performance in computer science field I shifted to CSE and for CSE Bangalore is the only place I would study CSE if an all still any option is there.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

On the basis of research , I can't comment as I have not put brains towards that direction. But in the basis of the structure of course , it is way advanced compared to other colleges under the same university due to autonomous scheme. Line we are taught better programming languages compared to other colleges.

Internships Opportunities

The college does provide internship but only for very less people like only for only for one or two people .

Placement Experience

4

The placements what is told by the college is sounds good only . The job opportunities are pretty good for my dept specially . As CSE in Bangalore is like a child at his home . So the job opportunities outside the campus are also many and with good positions and packages.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for hostel with mess is pretty expensive whereas the college fee is different for different entries . For people of Karnataka is 70k in my college including everything by cet entry . For people like me who joined throught comed-k is nearly 1.90 lakhs which is expensive but not much . For the people who joined through management are the people who provide a lot of fund for the college . The fees for them is nearly 1 lakh more that comed-k people.

Exam Structure

The exams are once in a month and lab are only once in the semester . And externals are held for every lab as well as theory subjects. They take two internals for theory subjects and one internal for lab . And third internal is conducted in theory for those who don't have average or have missed any due to any medical or genuine reasons.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty of the college is very good. They are knowledgeable as well as produce able. Means what they know is what they are able to deliver during lectures . They are also ready to help whenever they are able to . They also clear the doubts whenever possible .

Around 47 students in our course and in 2025 36 of them were placed and rest I don't think even applied as jobs were definitely available. Infosys, Polaris and others who are now world famous for building cyber security systems were at MIT Manipal to hire students.

the placements oppurtunity are there and you can grab a very good paackage from here. The highest is around 44 , average is 7 lpa. Students become eligible for final placemnts from 6-7 semester. Companies like thermo fisches , fractal , belc , hitachi and many other, have visited. The percentage of placemnt is quite high but people grabbing more than 30lpa is very few. after degree i want to go for job directly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Honestly I don't a thing about the relevance of the curriculum, this curriculum thingy has been changing every now and then in our college I hope atleast they stick to one curriculum and make us study that and don not change it further. As I've mentioned before, I was not informed in prior about the syllabus so obviously there's no specifi aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course. I think the curriculum will prepare me to face the world way more wisely and strategically than how I'd deal with it otherwise. I think one area they can improve is in physics, they can give us more seminars, projects and stuff to check our understanding. That would really help a lot of people to be creative and help people to get the exposure. Coming to the difficulty level of the paper, I know nothing because I haven't written the sem exam yet so, I know nothing. But, can guarantee one thing!! Be careful, cause as per sources our college is known for it's tough question paper, so y'all better study.

In UVCE placement rate is almost good but we need more effort on self study . Most of the students works in internship in 7 or 8 th sem it means before graduation then they will got good placements. Some of you directly god good placements without working in internship.. Because putting there efforts..
