Entrance Preview

Dayananda sagar college of pharmacy is a fun, challenging, and eye-opening college. Challenging, you learn so much more then what your major is centred around. Through meeting people of all kinds of backgrounds and taking classes that require deep thinking about your place in this world, even after your first year you'll come out more well knowledgeable than when you began.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course of study for B.Pharm shall extend over a period of eight semesters (four academic years) and six semesters (three academic years) for lateral entry students. The curricular and syllabus for the program shall be prescribed from time to time by Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi.

Placement Experience

3.5

If we talk about placement, it is average. If you have the capabilities to grab the opportunity, then you will get the placement. Here, the students think that they won't get a placement, but they are wrong, you can grab the opportunity. The Training & Placement Cell firmly believes in ‘Industry-Institute Interaction’ and organizes technical talks and national seminars to provide a platform for the budding pharmacists to interact with professionals from various industries. It encourages visits to the industries by the college students. It arranges for industrial problems to be worked on by students as part of their projects. It also takes suggestions from members of industries regarding designing/changing of curriculum.

College Events

4.5

Some small events gets going here like ethnic day celebration. Like already mentioned it's a new college so we don't have college fest. We also celebrate sports and cultural events month of February.Students are encouraged to actively participate in various workshops, to improve their technical skills in latest technology to fit into the present industrial society.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible fee structure. Not much expensive compared to other colleges Total b pharm fee 4 lakh, 1st year 1,25,000 rs, 2nd year 1,16,000 rs,3rd year 1,11,600, 4th year 1,0 7,000rs (inclusive of exam fee paid to university and admission fee).No scholarship or loan facility is been offered directly from college.

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholarship or loan facility is been offered directly from college. But there will be stalls put up by various banks during admissions who will assist you to get Education loan. College has one Vijayay bank through which all transaction happens ( Admission fees, exam fees, Hostel fees fines everything)

Campus Life

4

Supported by modern infrastructure and an innovative bent of mind, faculty members enjoy strong links with industry. Their involvement in research and development brings a unique authority to the teaching of their degrees. There is no discrimination amongst the students. Laboratories will be handled by subject experts ( One pursuing or pursued PhD in that field) But as the department is concerned teachers are little strict compared to any other department in DSI I have been really enjoying the way my course and curriculum has been going

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel is good . In Indian hostel in each room four people can stay easily if compared to Pg situated nearby of the college it's good. Mess food is average. The rooms are quite good and the bathroom is also well managed. There are two separate hostels one for the 1st years and other for the rest.Washing machine facility is also provided by the hostel

Alumni/Alumna

There is none alumni that is known to me but yes seniors are quite friendly and do take care of ours. The guide us through several difficulties. Ragging is not an interest of this college in fact they help us settle in our new life

All the professors are highly qualified in their respective subjects and are the pioneers of their respective fields. Their teaching skills are really very good as well as knowledge of their subjects and selection is through competitive exams.Quality teachers are here & main thing is that lectures and attendance are regular over here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My father influenced me to choose b.pharm. This college does not have any smart classes. I think that is a need. But the exams are frequent every semester. Question papers are moderately hard but studying for 2-3 months for a semester can easily get you passed. As the college doesnot provide placements it may be hard after passing out
