Course Curriculum Overview
The coarse includes 8 semesters which is 2 sem per year for 4 years.Each sem has 2 sessional exams and a semester exam.each sessional is out of 30 marks and then the average of 2 sessionals are done and converted to 25 marks.University examinations is out of 75
Placement Experience
Placements are available in the university.Companies like mylan,Lotus,Bioclinica etc come for placements.Lecturers recommend us for the internship as well. Although there is no stipend provided, the overall experience is good as we get to learn new things
College Events
Our college takes up different activities.The events are distributed throughout the year.However, the events are reduced because of the busy schedule of semester system.Literary week,Cultural week, Sports day, College day, bioethics day etc are celebrated
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure was 90000 per year whrn i joined which is now over 1 lakh due to increasing demand for the course.There was a concession about 50% for meritorious students before i joined which would be very helpful.But they cancelled because of university issues
Fees and Financial Aid
The college doesnt offer any scholarship from the university.It doesn't offer any loan facilities as well. However, Government aided scholarships are availed by students of minority classes and thry are supported by the college
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities are not much of importance in the college due to college tight schedule.however there are different events organized yearly in which the students participate actively.Labs are well maintained.
Alumni/Alumna
Senior students are very helpful.I personally received a lot of help from my seniors.In collecting notes, in completeing some works, also in doing anything that was new to me in the college,my seniors helped me well.
Admission
I was admitted to this college based on my merits.The admission opens before 3-4 months of the commencement of the coarse.A maximum of 100 students are taken each year for this course.It was 80 4 years back. but because of high demand for the course the admissions rose to 100
Faculty
The faculty is supportive throughout.I was guided from the initial step.They helped me clear all my doubts and therefore i was able to score the desired marks.The faculty makes use of Presentations, demonstrations and other facilities
