Remarks

I scored a little less in 2018 and i could not avail myself a seat in general quota then i got sear in the reserved category of BC A in haryana . And addmission depends upon the neet marks and age should be minimum 17 before 31st December of that year. Counselling held at our university which is Pt. B D sharma University of Health Sciences Rohtak Haryana. Students are being called according to their marks obtained and rank in haryana state. Their is checking of documents at different level Their photocopies are being submitted and then when u finally select the College available to you your final documents are submitted there only. Fee could be given by DD or debit card at the spot only . No cash was accepted. The next day we were called at the designated college for the medical checkup and fomalities are done . As in Esic , this institution has its own one year job contract which is signed before addmission which is of 5 lakh as of now but it keeps on changing as the headquarters decide.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

This college has only MBBS as of now and this is what i wanted . No. Faculty keeps rising and teachers here are mostly from delhi and passed from prestigious institution from all over India. Retired hod from amazing institute in delhi now serve as hod here and we have alot to learn from them. The way teachers teach here is good. Clinical study along the bedside of patients and then thorough discussion of the cases. We are being tested very often and if have our concepts clear its easy to paas. Final exams are held yearly and decided by the University.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

As with MBBS there comes compulsory rotatory internship in the hospital in all the clinical departments. Currently stipend given to the interns is 23500 Which may change anytime . No such tasks and projects are given . It is just a first step to be a doctor and get acclimatized with the hospital environment and treating and interacting with the patient .

Placement Experience

2.5

There is no such thing as campus placement , it is just that we sign the bond before getting addmission into the college which is to serve in any esic hospital for one year. Every student has to complete the bond else to submit the amount of 5 lac ( current) This amount may change as and when bond is being revised.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee is reasonable and it is same since the batch 2017 . There is no scholarship given by our college but students can apply for scholarship provided by state Haryana to the students of reserved quots with their own criteria. Stipend is given in internship as of now it is 23500 but it might change in coming years. A person can work jere as Junior resident after MBBS , senior resident after persuing theirs masters.

Campus Life

4

We have annual fest but sometimes it is intra college and sometimes inter college . The fest name is ESICRUX and it is usually held in February. Library is always having the books and journals you need and its about go and grab because they are in limited numbers. Classrooms have centralised air conditioner , projectors which i guess is very basic need for the class. As for sports there are Table tennis, badminton , basketball and during fest there are many sports played other than these such as cricket , football etc. Time to time there are several competition such as debate , painting ,poster making, dance, singing, poetry, rangoli etc. There no such clubs at our college but during fest there are several committees made by students and supervised by assigned faculty.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

One of the best hostel in Haryana in any medical college with attached washroom to two rooms. Room is provided with personal balcony. As in furniture you are provided with bed , almirah, study table, chair and one personal bed side table. Romms have curtains so no need to buy yours. Mattress is provided once when u get the college and have to use for rest of the college years. There is students'organized mess . We have mess committee with members from every batch . Menu is decided by them and quality is very good with hsing best quality raw material. After counseling when we report to college for medical checkup , management asks us for the option of hostel and it is very affordable and cheap being in the Delhi Ncr. Pg and flat are also available nearby in the nit3,nit5

New nmc curriculum is quite clinical based and practical also the practicals in different subjects help us to grab the concept even more. Syllabus is quite vast and difficult to cover. Exam frequency is very high evil give pcts after every topic completion and two internals and two centres and one professional exam is also there.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I've always wanted to become a doctor. Every batch consists of 150 students and for every subject, there are at least 4-5 professors. All faculty members are of course doctors with varying degrees of specialization in their respective fields. Their teaching method is through PowerPoint slides for theory classes and practical's are held in respective labs as it happens everywhere else usually. As for now, due to COVID exams being postponed otherwise before the pandemic, exams were held on time. Exams in a medical college are always slightly more difficult than other courses otherwise if you study properly it's not that tough to pass.
