Remarks

I applied for the CS MBATECH stream in MPSTME. The admission criteria was 50% in PCM in 12th CBSE. I haven't availed of any quota for admission. For admission, students have to pass the NPAT exam conducted by the NMIMS University.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because of its an integrated course. My MBA and BTech will be completed in 5 years as compared to 6 years if done separately. Faculty is well qualified, most of them are mastered faculties from IITs/NITs.

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Internships Opportunities

MBA and BTech jobs are offered to the students by the companies. Various internships are offered to the students. Companies ask for projects made during the college years or made before. Students should make their CV very carefully and include all the achievements they've accomplished so far.

Placement Experience

1.5

A placement committee is made for handling the placement procedure of the students. Microsoft, TCS, IBM has visited the companies for placement purposes. The average package is around 25 lakh rupees. After getting a degree, I'll set up my own business.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are around 3 lakh rupees for the first year, and increments in the next 4 years. I did get an internship after the end of 3rd year, but it was unpaid. Financial Aid is provided to those who need financial support.

Campus Life

Life at the campus is good, and there's very much interaction with all the staff and faculty in the institute. The college has a library built for students to study. Classrooms have smartboards and the whole campus has Centralised AC.

A BCA degree can take you places with a bachelor's degree in computer application one can find a reasonably good start in the information technology industry. If we talk about student ratio there are 60 students in a class. The teaching staff is very good and well educated.

Admission:

I am currently in the first year of my MBA course at AIBM university. The admission process was pretty straightforward and smooth. Students who have a Bachelor's degree can apply for admission in MBA programme. The eligibility is graduation with 50% + score of either of the five tests (CAT, MAT, XAT, GMAT, MAHCET) is considered. One should know that the final selection also depends on group discussions and personal interview rounds. The process is very much like any other MBA college only, and it starts with filling up an application online.

Life at NMIMS navi mumbai

i had applied to various colleges apart from nmims and also got into a few of them like NIIIT rajasthan , wating list for symbiosis pune , few colleges in delhi university like motilal nehru college, ramjas etc. the reason for not selecting those colleges were that the reputation of nmims for their bba course supercedes all these others yes i got rejected from some colleges like iim indore , iim ranchi and christ university where i got rejected post interview and i could not make it to the personal interview stage for the iims to get into nmims , there is an entrance called npat and for few courses like bba and bcom there is mandatory requirement of maths as a subject in your 12th class and there no other entrances for this institute. the cutoff various for each branch of nmims varies like for nmims navi mumbai its somehwhere between 1000-3500 and i had gotten 1100 finally the admission process is quite easy and you are given 2 attempts max for npat and the admissioning is all merit based and no GD or PI...Read More
