Remarks

Vimal jyoti engineering college, thejus engineering college are the 2 colleges which I applied for. My keam marks were not satisfied so I only got nri quota. I had 71% in CBSE 12th board exam so it was a good mark according to thejus engineering college criteria to get admission, my age was 19 during the time of admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I was fond of automobiles so I opt mechanical engineering. Faculties are good the help with study materials, encourage to do projects (working models) for tech fests, the classes they took are good, they see that each child in the class understands the topic and revives it during exams. Most of the faculty have PhDs, their teaching technique is good. There will be 2 to 3 series exams in every demand it is easy to get pass marks, but in case of sem exams it is difficult and need extra effort to pass in most of the sem exams

Internships Opportunities

2.5

There is an internship done by Internshala in college it is good and students get certificates by doing some classes and attending some webinars Some of the programs in Internshala are paid so the students will get a small amount of money by doing some online jobs. This only takes few hours of the day to do the Internshala programs. There are many companies in Internshala. Students can register in any of the companies according to their wishes. After the registration, they have to work online under that company for a given period. After the collection of the courses in Internshala students will get a certificate which is very helpful to get credit points in colleges. This certificate will be also helpful in the future.

Placement Experience

2.5

There are campus interviews and placement but most of the companies come for CSE students, according to the total percentage the no of students getting placement is less. My plan after getting a degree is to get a government job

Fees and Financial Aid

For me 35000 per sem including 5000 exam fees, college collects the full amount of fees during this pandemic. I am in the NRI quota so there is no scholarship for the NRI quota. Campus interviews or campus jobs are more for cse students, because companies related to cse branch take more campus interviews, next it comes banks etc. The campus interview board only take interviews based on marks not based on the student's ability, there are only scholarships for backward cast and reservations only few scholarships are there for students based on their abilities on my viewpoint

Campus Life

2.5

I only got one year in college after that covid pandemic hits colleges were shut down, so during the 1st year we got sports, arts some small iv, at the middle of the 2nd sem there was tech fest but it was canceled due to covid. Campus life was awesome, there were many clubs in college like music, dance, NSS, sports we have done many programs in this club. But now the college is not in good condition the 1st year don't have enough students,

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel facilities are good, food is provided in good conditions but now hostel fees are rising due to less no of children I hostels, accommodation is good, hostel menu is changed every month according to students wishes, hostel inside and surrounding are ked in Higenic way

Campus placements are highly volatile taking the stats from over the past three years there has been an up trend as well a down trend, I hope I will get placed through on campus interviews, the highest package of this year was for two graduates who got into IBM with 22 lakhs per aanum, there are few who didn't get into any of the companies while there were others who got int Amazon and other reputated companies, if I do not get into a reputed company through my college on campus placements the. I'll be aiming for higher educations most probably
