The criteria to apply for this college was that we have to obtain atleast 60% in our 12th board examination. Then after our application form was accepted ,there were two rounds of evaluation which included a written language test and a PI. Then those who qualified both rounds were notifies by thier contact no. and were given details to pay fees and a college admission letter.

I chose this course because India is a major Agriculture based country and I knew it would progress a lot in this field and I will have a good opportunity to learn from this university. The faculty members are highly qualified and very interactive. The examination process is also very fair and timely held.

There are many big and small firms that pick their employees and interns from our university and institutions. The Skymet weather sys, BKC, Dhanku Agritech Limited, Coromondal, are a few of those companies.

From sem 6 or we can say 3rd yr the students become eligible for college placement. My department has less placement for bachelor level but it does well in the master's program. The university provides very good exposure to students to work in all fields.

The semester fee was 39000 for the time I took admission. But the college has a policy of increment in fees each year of a minimum of 5%. There is an academic scholarship which the top three students of the batch can avail themselves of based on their CGPA.

The college annually organises Amity youth fest which contains a lot of cultural events and academic activities too. It contains a lot of quizzes and competitions held on a large platform. The participants are from all over the world. There are many University level clubs and then Institution level clubs. There is a certain procedure to join those clubs and then these clubs organise a lot of events and competitions. The overall experience is excellent.

There was a written test for communication languages i.e.English amd then there was a personal interview round where basic questions of 12 level were asked from our subjects. There were two faculties from our department those who took my PI
