Remarks
I chose SIBM Pune because it is near to my home and is actually very good in terms of Infrastructure, academics and facilities. I took a loan from bank to study and get into some good company through the placements.
Course Curriculum Overview
Academics are decent I would say. It definitely takes a lot of self discipline and self initiation to take full advantage of whatever the professors have to offer. A lot of case studies and games are used to better explain the subjects in depth.
Placement Experience
Quality of placements on an average has been good over the years, though it depends quite a lot on the job market. Placements takes a lot of efforts to get good companies to campus and the rich legacy of SIBM helps.
College Events
There are lots of seminars, workshops organized in the college. We are motivated to take part in competitions and events organized. The campus is embedded with all the facilities for the comfort of the students.
Campus Life
SIBM Pune has all the facilities a student might need and much more. A library with access to a lot of journals, subscriptions, books, computers with free Wi-Fi. Classrooms are also well ventilated and all this comes with the "hilltop" view.
