Remarks

Prestige is one of the best colleges providig an MBA program. I chose this university because my relatives live in Karnataka, and they told me that the university was really good in terms of education and placement. I applied for the course online, application fee was Rs 1000. I had to provide my 12th marks and graduation score (should be 50%). I gave my MAT score which i got 80 percentile. I was shortlisted and had to go through the GD, PI and WAT conducted by college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Our course curriculum is well structured. It provides us with the key features at first and then trains us in the segments of business we select like finance, marketing etc. The faculty here is excellent, most of them are Phd holders. Faculty: student ratio is 1: 4. Leval of exams isalso fine.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

I did an internship as a HR in Times Business Solution for 2 months. My job was to work on data management and data filteration. I had to do shortlisting and screening of profiles and had to connect with candidates over call. I was payed Rs4000 for this job in total.

Placement Experience

4.5

The students in their last year are eligible for the placement. The top companies visiting the campus for placement are SAP, Amazon, Wipro etc. The roles offered are sales manager, data analyst, HR etc. The percentage of students getting placed are 70%- 80%. The average salary package provided is Rs500000 and the hioghest is Rs1000000. My plans are to get placed in one of thees top companies.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The total fee for the MBA prograram is 600000 (tution fee+ annual fee). Prestige gives numerous scholarship like Merit scholarship, 7 sisters scholarship,KV student scholarship etc. Ex- I got a scholarship of Rs 20000, because my 10th, 12th and graduation marks were above 70% throughout. We are given internships by the college, and an average stipend offered is around 5000 to 6000 per month.

Campus Life

4.5

I found the campus life very good. Library is located in the first floor of the old academic block. The library is a whole world in itself, we find many books and journals for our studies. We have proper ameenities in the classrooms. We have many fest and events conducted every year like feashers day, WASS session, Cultural food fest etc. There are clubs like Science club, Speaker's club, Photography and art club etc that focus upon our development.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The hostel facilities are very good. I share a room with two girls, in which we have an attached bathroom, heater, washing machine, etc. Hostel staff is very kind and cooperative. The food provided is excellent and hygienic. There are both non-veg and veg options. The hostel as per the facilities is worth the expense.I was very satisfied with the hostel facilities, and chose to be in the hostel instead of choosing the PG nearby.

Admission

The GD/ PI/ WAT are originally held in Feb- March. In PI the first thing i was asked was to introduce myself. They asked me why i opted for this course and university, my strength and weakness etc. I read a newspaper everyday. This habit helped me a lot in my GD and my WAT exam. WAT is generally conducted to test our writing skills and grip on language. Continuous wirting practice helped me a lot in clearing this exam.
