Remarks

Firstly, my college is affiliated with Anna University and is accredited with Grade 'A' by NAAC. Moreover, in the previous year i.e. 2020 it was ranked 135 by NIRF. Further, almost every students get placed either on-campus or off-campus to the top-notch companies across the country. Faculties are highly qualified and most importantly the college is too low. Also, one of my cousin had completed her MBA past 5 years and got placed in Cognizant. On her advise and after going through all the details related to the college, I decided to take admission here. For admission, the first step was to fill the application form with all the required details asked there in online mode merely with the payment of application fee. Then, my MAT score, marks obtained in undergraduate was considered for shortlisting me. After which I was called for the selection procedure round and finally I am into this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum of my college follows trimester pattern like IIMs. Further, the curriculum is updated from time to time and prepared by the academicians and professionals with ethics, values and culture. In total, there are specialization as well as open electives to choose from and those are marketing, finance, operations, banking , entr business analytics, HR, entrepreneurship and others. Moreover, the pedagogies is contemporary participants centric and syllabi is designed to meet the requirements of industry. Furthermore, the faculty members are too supportive and helps us in capstone project, case study analysis, rural immersion projects and enhancing our managerial skills, hands-on experience for the Further usage. Apart from all above, I must add to this that the industry industry is the most significant part of the course curriculum.

Placement Experience

4

The placement cell of my college provide excellent placement assistance with 90-100% record every year. Also, the top employers like HCL, Tata Consultancy Services, Federal Bank, CUB, ITC Limited, homefirst, exalca and other recruiters across the country visit our campus to participate in the placement drive. Last year, the highest salary of 10.5 LPA was offered to one of my senior. However, the average package was 6 LPA. Moreover, after I complete my postgraduate program from this college, i have decided to go for doctorates with the same discipline.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The tuition and academy fee for MBA program in my college is 1 lakh for both the years. However, our college provide scholarship namely Prime Minister Special Scholarship by central government for those belonging to J&K. For this, one has to hold the domicile certificate of the Jammu & Kashmir. Also, scholarship to SC, ST students by Tamil Nadu Govt., to minorities i.e. Muslims and Christians by Central govt and other scholarships can be availed by the students fulfilling the criteria. However, I didn't avail the opportunity o scholarship provided in my college.

Campus Life

4

Swaram' which is a cultural fest organised in our college every year. Apart from that, we have photography club, rotaract club, cultural club, Ravi Varma creative club, English Proficiency club and others as well for which we are encouraged to join and get exposure through the extra curricular activities conducted therein. Also our campus is spread over an area of 167 acres and richly bestowed with greeneries. Here, we have been endowed with so many campus facilities of library, food court, WiFi connectivity, dispensary, transport, hostels and accommodation, ambulance, Ro purifier, KVB Bank and ATM, 24*7 power supply and many others and these are the reasons for my vibrant and dynamic campus life at KEC.

Placement Experience:

For campus placements students of the 4th year or 7th semester are the eligible ones. Multiple companies like zoho, apple,TCS,CTS, accenture etc have come and multiple small companies too. But the intake for the big and reknown MNCs were low from abt 2-3 candidates only.the placement here is 100% but the companies may vary.My future goal is to go for a government official stream after I finish my masters abroad.

From 3rd year itself a student become eligible for campus placements and some of seniors got ino flipkart like companies. So the college is good at placement. In any colleges, due to college the student can't only be placed, their skills, talents, communication is more important to get placed so based their knowledge the students get placed. only thing college need to do is getting good companies with package and our college also provide it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

me being a law student expected a lot of practical and theoretical examples to be presented in front of the students when I first joined in, but the reality was far less than what I expected. The professor is mostly came in read. Whatever the book said and left, gave us few assignments and group projects to be completed without any particular information from their side. We had to sit and do research on our own without any input, and then we'll go summit down the assignments or projects or whatever task was appointed to us, and then we'll have a viva through our work and that's pretty much it . The new professors who joined in by our third year, were very practical, made us understand a lot of things which the previous professor didn't. They answered a questions. They were more relevant to us because they could understand that some topics were forced on us and supposed to be taught, maybe twice or thrice just to make us more comfortable or just to make us more smarter in that area by understanding it in depth . law is one of the most interesting and difficult courses out there, but then if you have the right professor is leading you to it, you would learn easily and more efficiently. in my area of study, practical work was not very much included other than participating in mood court. It was all theory based which is not very important in a way because when you finish your course and get into the real world when you go to your corporate world or litigation side, you need practical experience and you need to understand how to do work and not just learn the sections or the theory part so something that they could have improved was rather than giving us assignments or group projects they could have made us understand and giving us real life situations or give given us more practical practice so that it would be easy for us to understand what litigation is and how we are supposed to do it.

The subjects in the MCA is very interesting but the students who studied UG course and then the pg course also in the same college then it is totally waste because they are studying the same subject again. Very bad thing is that in this college they are providing the same subjects and same syllabus for UG and PG students there is nothing different. But i have studies ug in other clg so for me it is different so i managed and it is interesting
