Caarmel engineering college was an amazing college and I have many sweet memories about my college life good facilities good teachers and all about my college is good.

Kerala entrance exam my rank is 15000 and i like the college atmosphere so i choose this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am a computer science student and I have many good teachers in my branch they all are very supportive and motivating teachers classes are very friendly and we can ask doubts freely to teachers without any fear high standard Lab facilities are provided by our college management.

Internships Opportunities

No our college does not provide any internship program s but there were placement drives and we have a placement cell working there.

There were placement drives and we have a placement cell working there in our college they conduct many seminars and classes about how to face interviews and group discussions and also give training of aptitude tests 10 students placed in cs branch Ibs 25000 starting per month, Fedral bank, Accenture etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible fee structure altogether i spent three lakh rupee as college fees and hostel fees seventy five thousand each year including mess fees tution fees and hostel fees.

Scholarships are provided for the students who got good marks and also for the students who is financially backward.

Very clean and neat rooms cleaning staffs will clean the room daily good food three students share a single room no pg is required because our college hostel is better than any other pg or hostels.

Yes our seniors are very friendly and helpful i have many friends in seniors they are very supportive and motivating.

Exam Structure

We have at least 1 month study leave for the examinations and we got lot of time to study also there were gaps between the examinations. Sometimes some students have supplementary examinations and normal exams on same day.

Admission

Through allotment process of Kerala government i got admission in Caramel engineering college i apply through online for the admission there were 4 allotments i applied for civil engineering course first but I got computer science engineering.

I am a computer science student and I have many good teachers in my branch they all are very supportive and motivating teachers classes are very friendly and we can ask doubts freely to teachers without any fear. All teachers are M.Tech graduates and some of them have double M.Tech.

IIIT KOTTAYAM - a Honest review

Placement Experience:

As seniors said the average package is around 10lpa.If you have descent skills and above 8 cgpa you will get this average package. If you upskill yourself with effort which many students do here then you can also get above 15lpa which many seniors got.The highest package was off-campus by an ECE Student in Google despite having cgpa around 6.He had very good skills as a full stack developer.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The length of course curriculum is very short. It is very difficult for both students and teachers to complete the syllabus in limited time period.The exam timing are also very conjusted and students are facing many difficulties because of it .

IIST - A good campus to live but with high restrictions.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is there in the campus.A lot of companies visit to the campus. From this year more private companies are visiting because of the breaking of bond with ISRO due to which students are getting good package.

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.
