Entrance Preview

Kerala Engineering Entrance Exam. My rank is 19000 . I like the college Atmosphere. Its very calm and quite area.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am a computer science student and we have mainly theoretical papers. We have one main project and one mini project and seminars we have 2 labs for one semester .

Internships Opportunities

No . There is no internship Provided by our college management . But we have industrial visits.

College Events

Arts , techfest, onam celebrations, Christmas celebration, holly . We celebrate all these functions onam celebrations includes flower competitions and many games .

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible fee structure . I got admission through entrance rank and got merit seat. My tution fee was 35000 yearly for 4 years and we have mess fees also . Its around 35000 for mess and rent for college hostel. There is no additional charges .

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are provided for the students who got good marks and also for the students joining for M.tech who are previous students .

Exam Structure

We got 2-3 days gaps for each University exams and we have series exams also.

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Placement Experience:

As of what i spoke to the seniors they said that AI students got better placements compared to Core students and the average package is around 9LPA for CSE branches students and 7LPA overall for all the branches and there is CIR foundation classes where they teach us how to improve our communication skills and How to create a resume right from first year itself according to seniors it is very helpfull

An aspiring first year student’s review

Placement Experience:

Civil engineering is a course with least placement in every engineering colleges. Students are placed during their fourth year in college. Sobha Constructions Ltd is one of the main companies that visits college. 200000rupees package is the average package offered. Les than 25 percent civil engineers get placed. I plan to prepare for GATE exam and pursue more in this course.
