Sanket's review on GIT

I had applied for several colleges but due to location point of view, I opted for the Gharda Institute of Technology. Admission criteria were based on our MHT CET marks or in some cases JEE marks as well but the overall admission process was really smooth.

I decided to go with computer science engineering was because of my interest in programming languages and development. All faculty members here are just great in all concerns as they guide us in each step of the academics curriculum. University exams are not really tough but we can say up to medium to hard if we have studied well then we can clear it for sure.

On-campus internships are very less but students are allowed to apply for various internships as per their interesting domain. In semester breaks students from multiple branches apply for many internships. There are many projects where students are assigned to do work with so that they can an experience out of it and they are allowed to show that particular project in college so that many students can get inspiration from that and do their own projects.

To become eligible for placements one must be good at GPA. From 6th sem onwards students can sit for interviews as per their preparations. Current year, one of the final year students got placed into Infosys with a 5.1 CTC. I going to do a job after my degree and have to do GATE preparations side by side to do Masters's.

I got a government scholarship in my first year named Post Matric Scholarship to SBC students. The fee structure here is we have to pay the fees according to our Catagory as per the college rules are. Every year colleges provide scholarships to top 3 students from every class and from each branch.

Gharda college is the best to live campus life as there are a lot of places where students can enjoy. There is a gym for the fitness of students, cricket playground where all the students play in their free time and apart from academics. Every year college conducts an annual fest named "Synergy" where all students get opportunities to show their extra skills in front of people."Practical" point of view there is another event called "Shodh" where students show their project which they have made during their academics or apart from that as well. The classroom structure is really good where all students can learn comfortably. The ASCEE committee is being run by third-year students.
