Uttaranchal University - a platform for your dreams

I am a citizen of Dehradun that opened the door to many colleges which are best in the business. I shortlisted 4 colleges and my first preference was Law College Dehradun because one of my cousins who is also a student there use to tell me about the college, the extracurricular activities and everyone knows that Law College Dehradun is best suited for law. There was no quota available to anyone. The only way Law College Dehradun uses to shortlist students is their entrance exam. The exam was not conducted when I took admission due to covid 19. The admission criteria was easy. We were required to fill the admission form and submit the fees to get admission. Due to covid they canceled the entrance exam and asked 2 or 3 questions during the call regarding the constitution of India.

BA LLB course requires aspirants to be hardworking and extremely thorough in their subject and that's the reason why I choose this course. The law degree is an integration of Arts and Law subjects and is of a five-year duration. The course-curriculum of BA LLB degree is such that law, as well as, the arts subjects, are included in each semester. Moreover, candidates are taught about law case studies, moot courts, law internships, seminars, and interactions with retired judges from High courts and the Supreme Court of India. Every semester consist of external and internal examination, as well as viva and assignment, are given .

Fee structure for law course in Uttaranchal University is 1,46,560 as per Uttarakhand and 1,89,200 as per all India quota Scholarship Offered at Uttaranchal University (For Law Programmes) - 10% scholarship on net tuition fee for meritorious students. 26% scholarship for Uttarakhand Domiciled Students. 5% scholarship to the wards of defense personnel. Uttaranchal University has established a full-fledged training and placement cell that periodically liaises and interacts with the corporate world in order to explore the possibility and job placement of students. The placement cell organises pre-recruitment training and discussion programs among the final year students and arranges the campus recruitment Programs for aspiring and deserving final year students.

The university organizes yuva fest ones in a year.It consist of various rograms such as Photography , various sport activities , rangoli competition , food and gaming stalls ,Debate competition, face painting ,Nukkad natak postees and sketching .The University has built up the world class learning resources which consist of the focused learning space in the form of lecture halls, series of computer centers, digital centralized library, laboratories, residential accommodation on-campus for boys and girls, sports facilities, cafeteria, canteen and Wi-Fi campus with 24x7 internet facilities.
