Remarks

The admission process is not that complex but time-consuming, as you need to switch different cabinet's for different process. you must be ready with all the essential OG documents and their respective photocopies. The staff is cooperative and explain you all the process accordingly you have to cope up.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty to student ratio in my department was 1:10. The faculties are well qualified, every teacher is MTech PhD or some are pursuing their PhD. The terms exams are scheduled by the university after every 5-6 months. College to conducts some tests and sessional exams for internal analysis. Also, the Exams are not too difficult to pass, many students pass them through overnight study.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Placement Experience

College dissent conducts any internship drive. You need to maintain your academic score and Technical skills to be fit in placement tests, one must maintain an aggregate score of 75%+, it would be great if you start to practice your coding for the first year, you must not completely dependent on college for ur coding knowledge. I'm planning to go for higher studies after getting a degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

I belong to the OBC category where I applied for the 'Scholarship for OBC' scholarship, by scholarship applied I need to pay 50k fees which is about 50% fees to open the category and different categories have different fees structure and scholarship. Whereas TFWS are not eligible for any scholarships as their fees are already around 13k.

Campus Life

The campus infrastructure is very good which includes a beautiful garden, a big playground and an ambitious space for parking. Three social groups are run by students in college which are Rotaract club, NSS Unit and a Cultural club.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Best college review

I appleid for ycce college , raisoni and priyadarshini college of engineering in which i got priyadarshini with branch etc which was unexpected . I was not expecting this but when i researched and studied i found it was worth getting as it has many facilities than other college and the staff is wonderful. I dont no what went wrong with me in other colleges as i was eligible for it i got 82% in cet exam but i didn't get it. For getting admission in pce you should pass 10+2 with good percentage and should appear for cet . You can directly get admission or can get through the cap round....Read More
