Remarks

The process was smooth. At the time of admission (2017), the cut off mark was around 180. I got admission as I scored 187. I got admission to the Information Technology department. Overall it's a smooth one.

Course Curriculum Overview

It depends. But most of the staffs are supportive and if you are good at academics, they will give you OD for good purposes. Each class will have 2 mentors. One for boys and one for girls. Some faculties are doctorates.

Internships Opportunities

I got placed in a company with a stipend of 16k per month and if you are good in academics, the college will allow us to do internships. I got around 8.5 CGPA. So they allowed me to be myself. I did a software project as a part of my internship.

Placement Experience

I got placed in the 5- 6th semester itself with a decent salary. Again I got placed at the end of the 5th sem with a good salary. There will be many companies for recruitment. Nothing to worry about a job opportunity.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees were quite high and they even asked us to pay full fees regardless of this pandemic. But it's worth it as there are many companies for campus recruitment. I got placed in an IT company with a salary of 7.5 LPA

Campus Life

The campus is quite strict. They expect you to be more format and you have to be tucked in. And no t-shirts and jeans are allowed. We have some food name in basketball sports. We got a huge library which was quite useful.

DRNGPIT is a tough gig to survive!!

Placement Experience:

Campus placements happens and happens usually from September to December. Every student's are asked to appear for the interview rounds and these opportunities are provided to us in our second last semester. Mostly all are placed before the final semester of theirs.

I have applied for admissions in Thiagarajar College of Engineering(TCE) and Velammal College of Engineering and Technology(VCET) through the management quota.
