No entrance test, Opted for Biotechnology as want to pursue career in this field. Appeared in AIEEE and got rank under 31000.

Course structure is based on UPTU syllabus. Course is distributed in semester wise with 8 semesters. Each semester has almost 10 subject along with 4 practicals. Each semester has 2 internal test which got weight-age in semester main examination. Along with that 80% attendance is mandatory for each subject. Internal and attendance together makes the student eligible for the main examination else could not appear in main paper.

Course required mandatory internship for one final semester in 8th semester. College does not provide internship. Student need to pursue their own internship in any institute or organisation.

College have their own placement cell. At that time Placement cell do not have contacts with renowned companies. Few companies came for hiring but with low packages. We applied directly and through off campus and at pool campus placements. Most companies hat hired students were of IT.

Fees structure is annual basis and to be paid one time in each year. Can be paid semester wise after approvals from designated authority. Fees were moderate. No hidden charges or separate examination fees or laboratory fees were taken by institute. Book bank is available with institute as its optional, student need to pay for that separately and need to return books after each semester.

No scholarship were available at that time. Education loans are available and many students availed their education loans to complete their curriculum.

Gender ratios were almost 40-60% with former comprised of girls and latter of boys. student were from diversified locations. Mostly from North India from Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh. University run students exchange program and foreigner were also part of university.

Exam is well structured. Each paper comprises of 2 mandatory internal assessments. Assessment got 40% weight-age in finals. Rest 20% weight-age were given to attendance, subject exercise and presentations. Rest 40% comprises of finals. Lab have same structure where 40% weight-age given to internal and rest 60% to external practical along with viva-voice. External examiner always stood up from different institutions to take external practicals.

Direct Admission filled online application form and then send the application form with requisite Demand draft. Waited for the list on the site. Got selected on the basis of 10+2 merit and AIEEE ranking in the first list. Checked for last date of admission. Visited institute and after visit submitted Admission fees.

Good and experienced Faculties but not from renowned institutions. Most Faculties were Ph.D but some of them were MTech and enrolled in Ph.D. Some of the faculties were fresher B.tech graduates and did not have prior experience in subjects. But course curriculum were well structured and were easy to tackle if any one refer books as recommended in curriculum.
