Shobhit Uni: Hit or Miss!!

The cource curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course was teaching of different computer languages and doing a project out of it. few teachers help to work using real world problems but some teachers only work on theoritical work and that makes it diificult to go further with the subject . I think different activities should be done to make the curriculum to get more attached to the subjects like GD and mentor menti system kind of thinhs that will make it more indulged into the curriculum. i think the time they are giving are enough for the exams and dificulty level is quite good but it should be more practical rather that theoritical.

there are many internship opportunities which are hooked with the college wich provides decent stipend i was a backend and IOT intern at qboid infotech gurugram and i got 12K stipend for the same i was there for 3 months i was working with APIs and IOT projects as well which were interesting to work with.

In last semester of B.Tech is eligibal for campus placement. There are various startup companies that visited our company like Qboid.infotech , branch. AccioJob, FanCraze. average package as per company was 3,00,000 per anum. 98 % students are getting placed. my plans after getting the degree is to move abroad for the masters.

The year wise fees I pay is 25,000/- The applicable fees is 1,05,00/- per year but I am getting a Scholorship based on my 12th percentage of 80,000/- Out of 1,05,000/- 80,000/- is tution fees 20,000/- is University charges 5,000/- is administrative charges. There are few of my bachmates who have fees lesser than me as they have their admission based on sports quota. There are Scholorships for students like - first is the scholorship for only girl child given by the university itself . then there are scholorships that come from the UP government for that students have to fill the forms. there are many students of bihar as well so they are getting scholorship from bihar government there are many international students as well thery are also getting some sort of scholorship.

In my whole 3 years there were only 3 events held every year that are dj night, dandia night and annual festival Sangeetam. There are lost of journals and Books available in library also we are given the national library login details to get access to the online national digital library which is very useful. we have labs for every class and most of thwe teachers uses projector to teach and labs are all working with different os as well. Sports acitivites are done only 3 days a year that is our sports meet and according to me there is very less sport interaction for dau scholars as compared to hostellars. there almost 15 clubs all run by the students the most active is Ecell SU and then Computer club and law club etc.

There are two more colleges in my city that i applied for that are IIMT and MIET but in IIMT i needed a bus service but they are giving me bus survise almost 7 km far from my house and we tried to ask them fo the bus service near my house but still they denied and hence i have to refuse to get into IIMT then i also applied for MIET as i was late for the admission as i have also applied for NEET because i was a student of PCMB in 12th so when i went to MIET the one at the admission cell was very rude due to which my father had an argument with my father so we ended up by ending the though of to admit in MIET. last we applied for shobhit and they were praised to have me as their student also they gave me scholorship and hence i took admission in shobhit university. I did not get the reject from those colleges but the things about bus service and attitue in the other did not went well hence i dropped my idea to get into those colleges. The admission process is quite simple: eligibility - passed in 12th with above 60 % marks a good caracter certificate. if a JEE aspirant then it is also give a good expression. admission experience is easy .

There are less faculties as compared to the students there is healthy relationship between students and faculty. There are lots of faculty i like in and out my department such as our departments director Dr. Nidhi Tyagi she has been a support system for me and helped me in many tasks as well. next is my class coordinator Dr. Mamta Bansal she has also supported me when i was absent due my injury she helped me out in getting notes and handling my attendance. next is Ms. Nimra Mirza, Ms. Himani Chaudhary they have been guiding books for me to instruct me what type of projects will be good for me and how can i cope up with interviews. next is Mr. Avinav Pathak he is also a helping hand for us and give us good advices for our future life.| next is Mr. Rajesh Panday he is very good in giving advises for life for future and also a helping hand for any kind of academics . next is Dr. Neha Tyagi she is not from my department buit she is also a suppor system for me. during our SIH tour.

Canteen is the best hangout spot for most of the group students and library is the best spot for couples. we also have a gym which has differenrt times for boys and girls , library opens as 9:00 am sharp and closes at 8:00pm sharp and ground is the best spot to hangout in winters. Campus timings are 9:00am to 5:00pm for day scholars and hostel lights get cut at 9:00am and light returns after lunch so that students dont be lying in the rooms at the ime of classes. list of hanghout areas are : 1. Chauhan Market that is the nearest market from the college 2. Malang cafe 3. Vihan cafe 4.
