Remarks

For my admission to IP University, I gave a CET exam in which I scored 5k rank and was allotted Delhi Institute of Rural Development (College in which I am studying) for the course of Bcom Hons. Fee and counseling were done in the college and everything was explained to me regarding the course and about the college, fees, etc.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose Bcom Hons as I have a keen interest in the subjects like marketing, economics, business and wanted to opt-in this field. Students in Bcom Hons were less compared to other courses and past batches. Overall faculty is good. Timely classes are taken and strict regarding attendance. Exams were taken timely and were difficult but everything was taught to us by the teachers.

Placement Experience

Campus Placement is not that good. Some students are provided with placements. This year there were no placements. My plan after graduation is to study further and enhance my skills.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees approx 85000, compared to the infrastructure and the studies, the fees are a little expensive. Scholarships are provided if opted for the same. Financial assistance for the students who have filled the form regarding some compensation in the fees. I haven't got any job or internship (due to pandemic) Past batches were provided with internship opportunities.

Campus Life

There are no separate fests in the college. We can attend main university fests conducted in the month of February. The library is available and most of the books are available. It's quite useful. Overall amenities in the classroom are good. Fans, ACs, whiteboards, etc. Sports like basketball, volleyball, badminton, etc are available. There are no social groups or clubs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very interesting & it teaches you a lot about the entrepreneurship. Specially in the field of commerce it gives you the right information and exposure to the real world. Subjects like Corporate law , business law , Cost accounting and etc teaches you a lot about practicality.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say that SEC and VAC, were added by the university to enhance students mind, but these subjects feel more like burden to the students. And also the theoretical and numerics being taught, are not relevant to todays world, as curiculum in the books is not upto date, The assignments pressure.. and sometimes the fear of getting low marks.

MLNCE - Average but Enjoyable

Placement Experience:

The placement in Motilal Nehru College (Evening) is decent and is led mainly by the Placement Cell. Though inactive earlier, the placement cell has become significantly more active recently, bringing in more internship and job opportunities. Students become eligible for placements during 3rd year. In a good placement season, companies like Deloitte, KPMG, PwC, EY come for Audit, Taxation, Risk Advisory, HR jobs. Other companies like DE Shaw & Co, Accenture, Capital IQ also come during job fairs. Earlier, Wipro, TCS, Amazon, Flipkart have also recruited from the college mainly for Sales, Business Development, Operations jobs. Highest on-campus package is ?18.7 LPA and rhe average package is ?3.6-4.5 LPA. Approximately 40% to 50% of students who participate in the process secure placements. My plan is to get into freelancing after college.

In regard to the relevancy of the course Im quite fond of the subjects such as BL CA AND HRM they give us the better insights for both practical and theoritical knowledge making us ready for the "real" world . As For the improvement i feel like there should be some flexibility in GE so that students can choose a sub as per their choice as Hindi is fixed for me which isnt quite suitable for my course and it just drags my CGP down. The frequency if the exam is okay but the timing I feel like its way too fast just after first sem exam we had classes and all test and felt like it went on a spur

An Unfiltered View of SRCC

Placement Experience:

Placement in SRCC is very amazing, and way beyond the placements of DU colleges. A lot of big big names in Finance, and consulting domain, recruit from campus including McKinsey & Co., Bain & Company, Kearney, Big 4s and all. Highest package is 35+ LPA and Average Package is 10 LPA. I HAVE PLANNED TO complete my ACCA along with a little work experience.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.
