After completion of 10+2 i wrote Karnataka CET 2012 conducted by KEA. I Got 6700 ranking in Engineering category. I was looking for economically affordable college for me so during online counselling entered UBDT as my first choice since it was government college where college fee is very less compared to other private colleges. I got seat in first round itself.

The course structure is same as of the other VTU colleges of the state. Course structure focuses more on the theoretical aspects than practical. There is little scope for research as the labs are not upto the mark.

No. Our college does not provide internships. If one wants to do internship they have to search on their own.

Since it is government college the placement and job opportunities are very less. only few companies visit the campus. Students have to depend mostly on pool campus. There will number of opportunity to provided by VTU through pool campus programs. One has to be good enough to make use of available opportunities.

Each branch has their own forum they conduct their own technical and cultural activities every sem. There are two inter college cultural festival conducted by college. One is Chaitra which is celebrated every year another one is Swadesh celebrated once in two years.

There is very good facility of scholarship in college. As it is government college there are so many govt scholarships students can apply such Fee Refund in which you will get complete refund of your college fee, MHRD ,Vidyashri, Rani chennamma etc.

College has very good greenery campus situated well in the middle of the city. The number of girl students is always more than the boys. There will be many extracurricular activities happen frequently in college. There is support for sports but not good enough.

Hostel facility is just above average. In first year you have to share room with four. In third and fourth year you will get two sharing room. Hostel doesn't have its own mess. Mess will be run by outsiders on contract basis to whom you have to pay monthly. Quality of food is not upto the mark.

Since the college is second oldest engineering college in Karnataka it has very big alumni network. There is website to connect with alumni. Frequent alumni visit and interaction happens in college such as campus care where alumni will give placement training for students.

College follows the exact exam structure of VTU. Where there will be three internal exams in a sem and one final Sem Exams. Best of two internal scores will be considered for averaging out the internal score for each subjects. Since the exam process is very transparent in our college one has to earn marks.

Once I got seat in online seat allotment process we went to counselling centre paid the fee for KEA took the acknowledgement. After that we went to college before given date and completed the admission process in college.

All the faculty in the college are well qualified. Since it is government college most of the faculty are double degree holders or PHD holder. And some of them are from IIT. But faculty shows little concern about teaching rather they are just interested in completing syllabus.
