Remarks
1.I have applied for Velammal College of Engineering and Technology as my first choice and Sethu institute of Technology as second in counselling. In counselling itself, I got to this college. It is better than sethu so I didn't attend to sethu institute of Technology. 2.I am the first graduate in my family so I have applied for the First Graduate quota and the government has approved and pay me 27500rs every year. 3.Minimum marks to Pursue a CSE degree is 60% and the cutoff should be above 170 to join my college. There is no age limit.
Course Curriculum Overview
1.I choose this course because I like the IT field and have a dream to work in that. 2.In our department students are around 480 and staffs are around 20 to 25 3.Minimum qualification of a Faculty is M.E degree in Computer Science stream and there are many P.hd Scholars too. 4.There were totally 7 tests conducted totally before a university examination. A cycle test followed by an internal Assessment test of 3 sets and one model Exam. It is easy to pass if we study the important questions and answers.
Internships Opportunities
1.Kaar Technologies-Trainee Stipend-5000rs 2.There are many projects that the companies give to students to do during their internship period. I didn't know more about that because I haven't attended any internship yet.
Placement Experience
1.From semester 6 2.Zoho, TCS, CTS, Wipro, Infosys, HCL, Kaar Technologies and many more. 3.Highest package this year in CSE Dept is 12 Lakhs per annum and average package is 4 Lakhs per annum, 4.In our department in 2019 there are 71 students placed out of 120. 5.Getting a job through campus recruitments and lead a happy life.
Fees and Financial Aid
1.The fees structure for the government quota is 77500 per year and for the Management, the quota is 110000 per year.No no fees hikes now there may be a possibility in upcoming years. 2.Government first graduate scholarship which gives me 27500rs each year. Since I have been studying 2nd year I didn't attend and campus interviews yet.
Campus Life
1.Nothing will be conducted in our college 2.In the library there are a lot of availabilities of books and journals 3.Ventilation in classes is good.Classes are well lightened with 6 tube lights. And there are 6 fans in each class 4.There are sports like Basketball,Badminton,Cricket, Volleyball etc 5.There is nothing.
