GBU: An average college for learning

I applied for Lovely Professional University, I didn't take admission there because it was way too costly and too far from my home. I didn't avail any quota for admission. An exam is conducted for taking admission in GBU, naming GPTU, on the basis of your rank and seat availability you get admission. You need to clear GPTU exam for taking admission in GBU, then counseling is done.

Food technology is a growing field, and I am interested in Food safety and packaging procedures that's why I opted for this course. All the faculty members were good, helping nature, and all of them having a Ph.D. degree in food specifically. Faculty-student ratio 1:6

Fees structure I ls quite rigid as fees keep increasing yearly for new students as the fees at my time was 99k/yr, it is now 1.50L/yr. No scholarship is provided to outside UP students, scholarship only provided to only UP students.

An annual fest named Abhivyanjana is held in GBU in the month of October, A food fest in January, and a sports fest named "Shouryotsav". GBU has the best library "Bodhisattva Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Central Library" most all the books are available there you issue books for studying for a time period of 6 months. All the classrooms are GBU is Fully ventilated with AC and the class size is also very good. GBU has every sport there but there is a lack of management on everything like they have a swimming pool but it doesn't work and not open for students. Also, GBU has very cultural groups like Drama Club, welfare club, music club these all are under different faculty members there. GBU has the best auditorium many movie shooting is done there.

GBU provides single-seated rooms which are very spacious with no attached bathrooms, they provide LAN facilities to students the speed is very high approximately 90MBPS on average. They provide you with a bed (no mattress), one chair, study table, and an almirah, the whole gets cleaned on daily basis. GBU has a campus of 511 acres that's very beautiful though. The Meals provided in the mess area "okay okay" sometimes the food is very bad and sometimes very good the menu keeps changing every year but on Sunday lunch you'll get "Chhole Bhature" the mess persons are very friendly. GBU takes hostel and mess together with the academic fees every year. Most students like the facilities provided in the hostel.
