Remarks

Applied to DJ Sanghvi, VCET, SFIT but didn't meet the cutoff for DJ Sanghvi. Got selected for SFIT in 1st round, so didn't apply for the next rounds and confirmed the seat here. I didn't avail any quota here. Admission was pure through MHT CET marks, the cutoff for Christian minority was a bit low.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is as designed by MU as it is affiliated with MU. I chose this course especially in this college as it has a great reputation of both good faculty and placements. Faculty have done bachelors and most going for masters and Ph.D. The teaching method is also very subtle and understandable. There are 2 internals and 1 external exam in one sem as designed by the MU.

Internships Opportunities

Various startups provided internships like Technical Content Writer, Python developer, ML internships. All were unpaid but to provide industry knowledge and provide a good work environment. Sparks Foundation was one of the companies.

Placement Experience

The placements are very good. Companies like Reliance Jio, TCS visit for campus placements. Also, students get various opportunities for internships in the 3rd and 4th years. The highest package the previous year was 15 LPA and the average package is 3.33 LPA. I plan to go for a master's after my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are 110000 approx per year. Since I joined there is no fee hike. Scholarships are per the terms of the government. There are some additional costs of printouts and other stuff but it's minimal and shop inside the college provides the students with the best price.

Campus Life

There are many fests conducted by various committees, mostly conducted in February and September. Books are available both related to the curriculum as well as related to other technologies in the fields. Also, journals related to various businesses are available. Classrooms have projectors and huge spaces. IEEE, ISTE, CSE are some of the student clubs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Electronics and telecommunication engineering is best branch. And there is also best teaching of hardware as well as software and also in which attendance is mandatory. They shows how to use the academics with real world applications. By taking hardware practicals. I think no need of improvement but i gives improvement in attendance. Please don't take attendance mandatory.

Placement Experience:

After semester 6 students are eligible for campus placements. Some of the top companies visited are phonepay, Morgan Stanley, JPMorganchase, Deutsche Bank, cashrich , nomura . The highest package offered is 35 lakhs and average package is 14 lakhs. Till now the placement percentage is 100 percent. My plan is to appear for placements after 6th sem.

SFIT the brave,the bold and the pressured

I entered thru cap round which plays a significant role in course eligibility in prestigious colleges , this college was recommended to me by a long stream of family members and it has lived upto a part of its reputation. I didn't get rejected but SFIT my 3rd most important college as I had to check for other better colleges which i knew i couldn't get in as part of a strategy. Eligibility depends on aspects like college minority and minority eligibility in this case Catholic or Christian need to have 65 plus in percentile of CET .
