:)I applied for only Velammal Engineering College :)No, I didn't avail quota for admission ;)Admission criteria: Minimum cut-off - 120 :)First I submit the required documents Then I Selected the Colleges of my Choice.

Course Curriculum Overview

:)I like to deal with measurement, control and automation of processes. So I Choose this course. :)Faculty: Student ratio - 1:15, :)Most of the facilities are having experience, Teaching was really good, Easy to get pass mark.

Fees and Financial Aid

I joined Velammal Engineering College through the Government quota, So the fess that I paid was quite low, it was not so high. Then the Government provides a scholarship for SC, ST, MBC and BC students.

Campus Life

:) National level technical symposium conducted in the month of February 2020. :) Maximum 6 books can avail from the main library and online ebooks from MC Grawhill publications and IEEE journals subscriptions :) LCD projectors ;) NCC, NSS, YRC, INNOVATION CLUB, MATHS CLUB, E-CELL, LITERARY CLUB, IEDC PROJECT CELL, INTRA DEPARTMENT SPORT. They encourage us and give importance to both extracurricular and co-curricular activities.

Placement Experience:

3 yr students are eligible to get placed.particularly japanese placements come around that time.and general placements comes in 3rd yr 6th semester! Jsw, Renault Nissan are some of the companies that come! Highest in Japan 32 lpa , general - 12 lpa. 99.99% get placed.

My experience in VIT

Placement Experience:

My college allows you to get internships from the 5th semester. Campus placements can be availed 7th semester onwards. The highest package offered was I think about 1cr per year and the average being about 8-9LPA for my course. My plans after my degree is to work.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 3rd year for placements and also who don't have standing arrears ,if they have standing arrears the clg management will remove them from placements and also the Placements are very poor . The average package is 350000/year . And the maximum package is 15L Last year nearly 100 students out of 180 in cse dept are non-placed , they are forced to write higher studies letter and submit in college . Even though they won't help for any placement side.

I applied for SSN and saveetha college. But now i am happy that i got this college. Because when compares to saveetha. My college have better placements. So im happy that i have this college.
