JIMS Kalkaji at a Glance

To get admission to this college, I had to first apply to the GGSIPU admission portal, the admission form costs around 1000, and when that was done, there was an entrance test. After clearing the entrance test, the university starts counselling and the admission is based on the cutoffs (rank based) of the entrance exam. The admission process is smooth and easy.

The course curriculum is very well structured keeping in mind that the student has ease and a stress free schedule. In a year we have 2 semesters and each semester has mid semester and end semester exam. The college faculty comprises highly educated and highly experienced teachers. They help to clarify all our doubts and concerns regarding the subjects.

We get to work on many projects and internships. There are many internships offered from many companies which can be both paid or unpaid. We get the internships in the 4th semester after that the college evaluates us on the basis of our work.

The college provides enormous placement opportunities and the selection process is moderate. On average, there are 70% of students got placed every year. The selection of students is 70% based on the GDs and PI they give and 30% on the student's academic performance. Top recruiters- ITC, Asian Paints, Godrej, Decathlon, Amul, Berger, Deloitte etc.

The course fee is reasonable and pocket friendly. The college has a feasible fee structure so that students can pay the fees with ease. It also provides scholarships if the student has a great academic record and background.

The college makes sure that the students excel both in academic and extracurricular activities. The college has many societies and departments like dance society, debating society etc. Every month many activities and functions held on department wise where students can participate and explore more. Also, there are many sports activities which take place in the college. Our college library is filled with books and journals which the students and faculty need.
