Remarks

Admission criteria for admission to IET Lucknow MCA program were through the UPSEE ranking only. The admission process was quite smooth. On the counseling day, there were arranged seats in the Auditorium Hall and each individual was called out by his name. The faculty helped each student in the admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview

0.5

I chose this course because I wanted to make a career in Computer Science. There is around 1 teacher per 60 students. Faculty are qualified but their teaching methods are quite dated, as you would expect in a government college, and leaving few, all other teachers just aren't qualified to be called 'teachers', yes they have MTech degree but they are really not that interested in teaching. Exams were moderately difficult to pass. There are two CTs in each semester and one-semester exam at the end.

Fees and Financial Aid

I'm not aware of any fee hike policy, for mca annual fee was 65000, give or take. Up scholarship assisted with the financial arrangements for fees and the college, faculty was really friendly in helping students with the scholarship application.

Campus Life

4.5

There are social clubs but none are really that great. Some which are somewhat good are not open for Mca students. I'm not aware of any annual fest in the college. Good books are available in the library in great numbers. Haven't been to classrooms due to online classes. Extracurricular activities are encouraged in the college. Some clubs that are run by students are mirage for photography. There is one dance club and one coding club. There is a robotics club as well
