UPES is wonderful

I have heard very much about this college and from my family, many of the members have graduated from this renowned college. UPES take admission on the basis of group discussion and personal interview. You have to prepare hard for this interview procedure, as they check your complete personality. You have to fill the application form and on that basis, venues are allotted for your group discussion and personal interview. They ask very logical questions.

The course curriculum is highly interesting and modernized. They focus on your overall development. The examinations are arranged in a quite simple manner. Your overall aggregate score is dependent on 20% of your midterm exams and 30% on your internal assessments and 50 % on your end-term examination. The faculty: student ratio here is 1:10. Teachers are highly qualified and enthusiastic. Most of them had done Ph.D. in their respective fields.

The students are eligible to sit in campus placement starts from the 4th semester. On average 25 companies approach campus placement. campus placement offers are highly good here. Companies like Paytm, Airtel, Oyo, and many more. Almost every student gets placed in this college. The highest package grabbed from here is 22 lacs per annum. The average salary package here is 8 lacs per annum.

The fees are quite high for an average earning family but, it's worthful. They train and develop you in such a way that you get placed with 8-15 lacs very easily. The overall cost to study here is 842000 + hostel fees. You can get loans approved very easily for this college. If you score good marks in your academic year then you can avail yourself scholarship also.

The campus is very beautiful as it's located on the outskirts of Dehradun. UPES has two campuses which are kandoli and bodoli. The UPES business school is situated in bodoli. UPES business school conducts various events like urjaa which is an inter-college event in which students participate in various events. Sports meets are also held here. The library of this college is huge, flooded with so many books. You can take any book or magazine from there. Classrooms are highly modernized with projectors, smart boards and etc.

College provides hostel and accommodation facility. The infrastructure is world-class. The hostel rooms are categorized into three types ac rooms, non- ac rooms, and AC rooms with attached washrooms. Each room has basically 3 beds and 3 cupboards. Hostel charges are 100000/- per year which includes mess also.

The GD and Personal interview rounds are quite basic here. Firstly they divide students into groups. Then they give topics to the group. Remember you should speak English. The topics are digital India, Indian economy, smart cities and etc. In the personal interview, they ask very usual questions like what is your dream package? What is your dream company? Why you choose their college over others? And etc. The only thing I recommend to you all is that -be confident.
