Remarks

After completing I applied for a few colleges like Ramakrishna, Hindustan, saveetha etc. And from these colleges, I filtered out and selected Crescent University. Because of the atmosphere and surrounding of the college, it had a different vibe at the college and I loved it. The admission process was not hectic at all, it was two day process that was instant.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

I chose this course as I had some interests in cars. When talking about the faculties in this course, there are very few hand-picked faculties that are good. Most of them teach in Tamil while it is difficult for the students outside Chennai to understand. The staffs have a master's degree and only one has a PhD degree. The exams are not tough at all just brush through the study material and you will be able to excel in the exam.

Placement Experience

2.5

The students become eligible for campus placement after the 6th semester. The placement is good only for the IT field and they have a good package also. But not for the Automobile course. The students getting placed are average in this course and all have opted for the IT field as they have no option. The average package in this course due to placement of 3L per annum. My plans after the degree are higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure of the course when I got admitted was 1.5L per annum without a scholarship. The fees now are reduced for the course due to the pandemic. When talking about the placement in this course, there are nil core companies for placement. Most of the companies are from the IT field that appears for placement.

Campus Life

4

Life at this Campus is good. You will enjoy life on campus. There are a lot of clubs, they recruit you from the first year itself. Do engage yourselves in the clubs and I am damn sure you will enjoy it in the upcoming years. There is a yearly feast in college called ORION and that has a lot of events that are conducted by the students. There are fests in each department also which is also exciting and technical. The library has almost all the books which are to be needed and it has been renovated recently with new books and the structure. Sports is a bit weak in the college.

Placement Experience:

The college provides four tracks for students: the placement track, higher studies track, entrepreneur track and the government exam track. Students can opt for any one track during their third year of study. The campus placements starts from the mid of third year. Mnc's like Accenture, cognizant visited our company the ratio is also good. Lot of startup's and core companies have also hired students.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from 5 th semester ,however they are not allowed to join companies before completing the current course. Many companies have visited like(CTS, Accenture, Soti, cart rabbit , course 5i and many more) in my batch out of 800+ students around 200 - 250 got placed . The highest pacakge is 13.5 LPA and the average package is around 4.5 LPA - 6LPA. College say its 100 percent placement but nowadays its not true because about 20-25 percent students are bot placed because of skill issues. My plan is to get placed in a good company and save some decent amount and start trading.

The placement and the package in this current year is less when compared to previous years. This is due to the more admissions in computer science field and more employees are there.the highest package is 12L/yr . 18% of students will get placed. My plan is to start private construction agency.
