IET, Lucknow - Grow and Innovate

I got admission to Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam. The other college for which I applied was Tezpur and I did not attend that because it was very far from my state. I did not avail any quota for admission. Minimum marks required for admission were 50% in Graduation. Admission was held by physical reporting at the college and the admission process was very simple and completed within less time.

The course curriculum is according to the requirement of nowadays. They teach you what is beneficial for you in the current scenario. I chose this course because it has a very good future scope and it is in demand. The faculties in the college are in good number and they also have a number of students. There are 50-60 students in every branch. Faculties in IET are very well experienced and skilled. They have an excellent approach to handle their students and provide attention to everyone. Their teaching method is according to the learning capability of students. Term exams occurred twice in a semester which is call class tests and there is one final exam in a semester. The exams are not difficult to pass you just need to attend regular classes.

Internship programs are provided by very reputed companies we get many opportunities for internships and training. the companies named Accenture, hp, tata, Infosys provide internships. They give roles like developers analyst managers etc. Projects are also given which make you better in your skills and improve your practical approach. Mentors help to complete tasks and do better.

There is a high probability of getting a placement in the college from the campus itself. The students become eligible for campus placements from the 3rd semester itself if you are in a 2-year program and in the 5th semester if you are pursuing b.tech. The companies that come for placements are Adobe, Wipro, TATA, India mart, Hero, MatrixCare, etc. There are approx 100 offers made as there are many companies that conduct placement drives on the campus. The highest package offered is 10 lakhs approx and average package is of 5-6 lakhs per year. The profiles offered are software engineer, software developer, web developer, data scientist, data analyst, etc. 90% of the students get placed and get a very good salary package. My plan after getting the degree is to get placed in a multinational company (MNC).

The fee structure is quite affordable. My tuition fees are 65000 approx. and I think it is very appreciable. The fees are the same for many years as I checked the fee structure of a few years back. The cost does not cross the boundary. You get a UP scholarship after applying to the scholarship program. You get on-campus jobs here too, financial assistance, and many other opportunities.

Life at IET is extremely amazing. There is a cultural and Technical fest in our college named 'ENCORE' which is organized every year and students from the colleges of other countries are also invited to participate in the same. There is a huge and beautiful library inside the campus where every book of your course is available and many journals are also there which will make you sit inside the library for hours. The classrooms are very spacious and have floors with neat and clean furniture and a platform with a whiteboard. There is a huge sports complex which is under construction and it will be ready soon besides that a sports club is also available. There are many other clubs like singing, dancing, photography and many more. These clubs are all taken care of by the students and besides that an app 'YAP' which is a social conversation platform developed and maintained by students for being in contact with the alumni.

Hostel facilities at IET are really remarkable and at a very affordable fee amount. The rooms and corridors are really neat and clean and have a very peaceful environment. The room is quite spacious with a cupboard and a window. There is a table, chair and a bed which is provided by them. The meal quality is really very well more than expected and the menu is weekly prepared by the students themselves. Registering for the hostel is a very simple process you just need to fill a form for that. The hostel room is quite affordable the fees are just 14000 per year. Accommodation for the hostel room is satisfactory.
