I've joined through TNEA counselling which required a cutoff of above 190+ for the Mechanical Department and the admission was done simply within two days after tentative allotment and it could be done only if we carry the required documents as the college listed.
Course Curriculum Overview
Chosen this for doing a general course and there are more than sufficient faculties where most of them holding a doctorate. The assessment exams will be conducted in 3-phase for the internals along with the assignments and it won't be much difficult to score marks if one listens to the classes regularly.
Placement Experience
Students can attend the campus placements from the 6 semester onwards and by the year of their completion around 70+ companies will be visiting for recruitment. The average package was 4 to 5 lakh per annum and nearly 90% of students will be placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The annual fees will be 80000 and in addition, bus fee or hostel fee will be collected as either 50000 or 1.2 lakh respectively based on the student's choice. Various scholarships are being provided every year for the students and the fund will be credited to the student's account. There are more jobs offered every year mostly by the software companies and most of the students will be assured of a job if he/she possess the required skills.
Campus Life
Annual fests won't be there except for the dpmt symptoms. For supporting the students, more no of books and journals are available in the Central Library and each dpmt is possessed with their own department library. Nearly 10 clubs are active on the campus run by the students with the guidance of faculties. A cricket tournament is also being held by the college and A. C. MUTHAIAH CRICKET TROPHY is awarded.
